Purchasing & Sourcing
- Identify, evaluate, and select reliable local and international suppliers for aluminium profiles, glass, accessories, hardware, and tools.
- Prepare and issue RFQs, POs, and negotiate terms including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- Source alternative suppliers/materials to reduce costs and avoid project delays.
Vendor Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, pricing, delivery, and service.
- Ensure timely deliveries and follow up on pending or delayed orders.
Inventory & Cost Control
- Coordinate with the store and project team to track material usage and ensure optimum stock levels.
- Monitor procurement budgets and assist in cost-saving initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, invoices, and delivery notes.
Documentation & Compliance
- Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies and UAE regulations.
- Maintain proper documentation of all procurement activities for internal and external audits.
- Coordinate with finance for timely supplier payments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of procurement experience in the aluminium & glass or construction industry in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of aluminium systems, glass specifications, and fabrication accessories.
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel), ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.), and procurement tools.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- UAE Driving License is an advantage.
