Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Producer based in the United States (Remote). As a Producer, you will lead the planning and execution of live events and experiential productions, transforming creative concepts into engaging, technically sound experiences. You will oversee projects from initial scoping and pre-production through onsite delivery and final financial reconciliation, ensuring every detail meets client expectations. Working closely with creative, account, operations, and production teams, you will coordinate vendors, technical partners, and onsite crews to deliver seamless events. You will manage budgets, schedules, technical requirements, and production risks while maintaining high standards of quality and accountability. This role offers exposure to diverse clients, programs, and event formats within a collaborative, fast-paced environment. With opportunities to take ownership of increasingly complex productions, you will play a key role in creating memorable experiences that connect, inspire, and make a lasting impact.

Lead production planning and execution: Manage small-to-medium-sized productions from initial scoping and pre-production through onsite execution and post-event closeout. Take ownership of key production workstreams for larger programs in collaboration with executive production leadership. Translate creative concepts into production plans: Evaluate feasibility, budgets, timelines, venue conditions, and technical requirements to turn creative ideas into actionable production strategies. Manage technical production requirements: Coordinate staging, scenic design, audio, video, lighting, LED displays, projection, rigging, entertainment, speakers, and other event elements. Assess venues for power, sightlines, seating, backstage requirements, load-in and load-out logistics, and overall production feasibility. Develop production documentation: Prepare and maintain production schedules, floor plans, technical drawings, run-of-show documents, and other materials necessary for effective planning and execution. Oversee onsite delivery: Lead site inspections, rehearsals, show flow, vendor coordination, and event-day operations. Anticipate challenges, identify potential risks, resolve issues proactively, and escalate concerns when necessary. Manage client and cross-functional relationships: Serve as the primary production contact for assigned programs and workstreams. Communicate production plans, budgets, technical recommendations, and updates clearly while maintaining trusted client relationships through responsiveness and follow-through. Coordinate production teams and partners: Collaborate with account management, creative, operations, and production teams to align concepts with practical requirements. Direct vendors, freelancers, crews, and technical partners by establishing clear expectations for scope, quality, schedules, and accountability. Own production budgets and financial performance: Develop estimates, budgets, and scopes of work for assigned programs. Evaluate vendor bids, negotiate costs, and recommend solutions that balance quality, creative ambition, and financial constraints. Monitor costs and manage reconciliation: Track committed expenses, actual costs, scope changes, and projected financial outcomes throughout the production lifecycle. Identify budget variances early, communicate financial implications, obtain approvals before incurring additional costs, and lead final financial reconciliation. Requirements: Professional experience: At least 5 years of experience in corporate events, live event production, experiential marketing, or a related production environment. Education: A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. End-to-end production expertise: Demonstrated experience independently producing live events or managing significant production workstreams from planning through onsite execution and post-event closeout. Technical production knowledge: Strong working knowledge of staging, scenic elements, audio, video, lighting, LED displays, projection, rigging, and show flow, with the ability to assess technical feasibility and coordinate complex production requirements. Production planning skills: Ability to develop and manage schedules, floor plans, technical drawings, production plans, run-of-show documents, and other event documentation. Budget and financial management: Experience preparing production estimates, managing budgets, evaluating vendor bids, negotiating costs, monitoring expenses, controlling scope changes, and completing financial reconciliation. Vendor and team leadership: Proven ability to coordinate vendors, freelancers, technical partners, onsite crews, and cross-functional stakeholders while maintaining clear expectations and accountability. Client communication: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to present production recommendations, explain technical considerations, and build trusted client relationships. Problem-solving and risk management: Sound judgment, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate challenges, resolve problems, and make informed decisions under pressure. Adaptability and composure: Ability to manage multiple priorities, respond effectively to changing requirements, and remain calm, resourceful, and solutions-oriented in fast-paced live production environments. Collaboration and accountability: A proactive, team-oriented approach characterized by curiosity, creativity, clear communication, reliability, and a commitment to high-quality execution. Schedule flexibility: Willingness and ability to work extended hours, evenings, and weekends during event production periods. Travel requirements: Ability and willingness to travel 35% or more for site visits, rehearsals, and onsite event execution. Remote work: Ability to work remotely while maintaining availability during U.S. business hours. Benefits: Competitive annual salary: $85,000–$95,000 USD, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Remote work flexibility: Work remotely from anywhere in the United States, with availability during U.S. business hours. Collaborative culture: Join a people-first environment that values teamwork, connection, inclusion, curiosity, and shared accountability. Meaningful work: Play a central role in delivering high-quality live events and memorable experiences for a diverse range of clients. Variety and creative exposure: Work across different programs, clients, event formats, and experiential concepts in a dynamic production environment. Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with creative, account, operations, and production professionals throughout the entire event lifecycle. Professional growth: Expand your live event production expertise while taking on increasingly complex projects and greater responsibility. Direct impact: Contribute to a growing organization where your production decisions, problem-solving, and leadership directly influence event quality and client satisfaction. Travel opportunities: Gain hands-on experience across event venues and production locations, with business travel expected to exceed 35%.
