Our partner is looking for a Product Manager, Financial Data – Screening & Search based in United States . Join a product team focused on making financial data more accessible, discoverable, and actionable through advanced search and AI-powered workflows. In this role, you will shape how structured financial datasets are organized, indexed, ranked, and surfaced across a market intelligence platform. You will define product roadmaps and lead the development of search, screening, and AI agent capabilities that support financial analysts, investment bankers, and corporate development professionals. Working closely with engineering, design, data platform, and AI/ML teams, you will translate customer needs into impactful product solutions. This opportunity combines strategic product ownership with hands-on execution in a collaborative SaaS environment. Your work will help ensure that financial information can be retrieved accurately and reliably by both human users and AI-driven research tools.
Define and execute short- and mid-term product roadmaps for financial data discovery, search, screening, and AI agent capabilities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. Contribute to the long-term financial data product vision by developing a deep understanding of client personas, workflows, and pain points, particularly those of financial analysts, investment bankers, and corporate development and deal teams. Identify gaps in searchability, screening logic, and financial content structure, prioritizing improvements to data tagging, indexing, ranking, and retrieval. Conduct customer discovery and incorporate client feedback into clear, actionable product requirements, including product requirement documents (PRDs) focused on search relevance, screening functionality, and AI agent retrieval. Collaborate with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to define requirements, coordinate development, and support successful feature launches and adoption. Partner with data platform and AI/ML teams to determine how financial content should be structured and made available to search infrastructure and AI-powered tools. Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation and user stories through prioritization, delivery, launch, and post-launch iteration. Develop and implement quality assurance strategies to evaluate search accuracy, screening precision, and the reliability of AI agent retrieval across financial content. Work with core data platform teams to support reliable data delivery, efficient indexing, and dependable performance across search, screening, and AI-driven use cases. Manage a complex product backlog, communicate priorities clearly, and keep stakeholders aligned throughout product development and delivery. Requirements: At least 2 years of experience building and managing SaaS products in collaboration with engineering teams and Scrum teams. Demonstrated experience working with financial data products and an understanding of how structured financial information supports research, analysis, screening, and investment-related workflows. Proven ability to own product roadmaps, manage feature delivery, and guide products from discovery and requirements definition through launch and iteration. Experience creating clear, detailed product requirement documents, user stories, and roadmaps that align stakeholders and support effective execution. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage a complex product backlog while coordinating multiple initiatives. A strategic, discovery-oriented mindset, with genuine curiosity about customer needs and the workflows of financial analysts, investment bankers, and corporate development professionals. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain product requirements, align cross-functional teams, and communicate priorities persuasively. Familiarity with AI-powered search, intelligent retrieval, or workflow technologies is an advantage. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field is required. Must be eligible to work in Canada. Visa sponsorship availability is not specified. Benefits: Base salary: $111,000–$139,000 CAD. Potential performance-based bonus. Equity opportunity. A comprehensive employee benefits program. Opportunity to work on innovative financial data products, AI-powered search, screening, and agentic workflows. Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, data platform, AI/ML, and go-to-market teams. Remote work arrangement within Canada, as indicated in the job posting.
