Full job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Manager, Measurement Experience based in Canada. As a Product Manager, Measurement Experience, you will lead the end-to-end development of a measurement and reporting platform that helps brands and agencies understand retail media campaign performance. You will oversee the integration of retailer data sources, transforming diverse datasets into a consistent, reliable reporting experience. Your work will shape a scalable infrastructure that supports reusable dashboards, configurable reports, and self-service analytics across multiple retail partners. Collaborating closely with engineering, retailer data partners, customer success, and solutions teams, you will turn complex technical requirements and customer needs into practical product capabilities. This role focuses on integrating existing attribution and measurement frameworks rather than building attribution models from scratch. You will thrive in a remote-first, fast-paced environment where ownership, technical fluency, and scalable product thinking are essential.
Lead retailer data integrations: Define the product approach for connecting retailer APIs and data feeds, including ingestion schemas, transformation logic, data quality monitoring, and integration requirements. Build scalable data architecture: Translate retailer-specific data models into normalized formats and establish abstraction layers that simplify future integrations across a multi-tenant platform. Establish data reliability standards: Define data freshness expectations, reconciliation processes, and monitoring tools that identify integration issues before they affect customers. Own reporting infrastructure: Consolidate transaction feeds, impression logs, audience signals, and other data sources into a unified, query-ready reporting layer. Develop reusable dashboards and reports: Define templates, filters, breakdowns, and export formats that address diverse brand and agency needs while minimizing custom engineering work. Improve self-service analytics: Guide dashboard design, visualizations, default settings, and progressive disclosure to support both experienced analysts and less technical users. Translate customer needs into product features: Work with customer success and solutions teams to turn recurring reporting requests and customer pain points into scalable platform capabilities. Manage retailer and client relationships: Lead discussions with external data partners to align on integration approaches, data availability, and delivery timelines. Balance customization with scalability: Establish clear prioritization principles for deciding which requests become standard platform features and which remain customer-specific solutions. Drive execution and delivery: Maintain the product backlog, write actionable tickets, coordinate stakeholders, and deliver improvements that strengthen reporting quality and reduce customer friction. Requirements: Product management experience: 3–6 years of product management experience, with clear ownership of data-intensive products, reporting platforms, or analytics experiences. Relevant industry background: Experience in retail media is preferred; AdTech or MarTech experience is also relevant. Data integration expertise: Demonstrated experience managing multiple data integrations simultaneously while balancing partner-specific needs with a scalable platform roadmap. External partner coordination: Proven ability to align external data partners on integration strategies, requirements, and timelines without directly controlling their engineering resources or roadmaps. Retail media measurement knowledge: Familiarity with measurement frameworks such as closed-loop attribution, return on ad spend (ROAS), and incrementality, as well as the data infrastructure supporting them. Technical data fluency: Working knowledge of schemas, joins, data latency, normalization, and related concepts, with the ability to discuss technical trade-offs confidently with data engineers. Reporting and analytics experience: Experience designing self-service reporting or analytics products for users with varying levels of analytical expertise. Product judgment and prioritization: Ability to distinguish scalable platform investments from one-off requests and make sound decisions across competing customer and partner needs. Execution and ownership: Comfortable working in a startup environment, independently clarifying requirements, writing tickets, following up with stakeholders, and shipping solutions without relying on fully defined briefs. Communication and collaboration: Strong cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to translate customer problems and technical constraints into clear product priorities. Benefits: Competitive compensation: Annual salary range of CA$140,000–CA$170,000. Final compensation may vary depending on experience, skills, budget, and location. Remote-first work environment: Work remotely as part of a distributed team, with Toronto serving as the company's headquarters. Flexible work philosophy: Flexibility to work from an environment that supports your productivity, including a home office or another suitable location. Home office support: Support for setting up and maintaining a productive remote workspace. Annual company retreats: Opportunities to connect and collaborate with colleagues in person. Inclusive workplace: Commitment to equal opportunity, diversity, equity, and inclusion, with reasonable accommodations available during the application process and employment. Hiring process requirement: Candidates reaching the final stages of recruitment must successfully complete a criminal background check.
