Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Manager, P&C Insurance Technology based in the United States . Join an innovative product organization transforming the property and casualty (P&C) insurance industry through cloud-based software, artificial intelligence, and intelligent automation. As a Product Manager, you will drive strategy execution across a portfolio spanning policy administration, underwriting, billing, claims, and data and AI solutions. You will connect product priorities across multiple teams, build robust business cases, and help guide strategic investment decisions that shape the product roadmap. Working closely with Product Owners, analysts, and senior stakeholders, you will translate complex business objectives into measurable outcomes. You will also lead and develop a Senior Product Analyst while presenting product capabilities and strategic insights to customers and executives. This remote opportunity offers a pathway toward broader product leadership in a dynamic, technology-driven environment focused on innovation and business impact.

Drive product strategy execution across the property and casualty insurance portfolio, including policy administration, underwriting, billing, claims, and data and AI solutions. Define cross-functional initiatives and epics that span multiple Product Owner backlogs, ensuring alignment between strategic objectives, product priorities, and execution plans. Maintain a consolidated view of portfolio performance, initiative progress, dependencies, risks, and overall roadmap health. Develop comprehensive, data-driven business cases for major product investments, using measurable indicators such as win rates, revenue, direct written premium (DWP), and Net Promoter Score (NPS) or customer satisfaction (CSAT). Analyze market opportunities, business performance, and product outcomes to support evidence-based prioritization and investment decisions. Collaborate with Product Owners and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve competing priorities, coordinate dependencies, and maintain alignment across multiple product lines. Manage, mentor, and develop a Senior Product Analyst responsible for portfolio analysis, business case development, and analytical support. Prepare clear, data-driven portfolio narratives, recommendations, and strategic analyses for executive leadership, customers, and industry analysts. Present and demonstrate product capabilities, new features, and roadmap direction to customers, communicating technical functionality and business value effectively. Support the evolution of portfolio-level product management practices, adapting to changing business needs, emerging technologies, and new strategic opportunities. Requirements At least 6 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, or a related analytical product role, ideally within property and casualty insurance technology, insurtech, or enterprise SaaS. Strong business case development and financial modeling skills, with the ability to evaluate product investments, interpret performance metrics, and substantiate recommendations with reliable data. Experience managing or mentoring at least one direct report, or a demonstrated readiness to transition into people management for the first time. Proven ability to work across multiple product lines, Product Owners, and stakeholder groups without relying on ownership of a single product backlog. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, including the ability to translate complex information and competing priorities into clear recommendations and investment decisions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to present to senior leadership and customers and explain complex product capabilities in accessible business terms. Ability to manage multiple initiatives, coordinate cross-functional dependencies, and adapt to evolving priorities in a dynamic technology environment. A bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Technology, or a related field; an MBA is an advantage. Equivalent combinations of education and relevant professional experience will also be considered. Familiarity with P&C insurance operations, enterprise software platforms, and data-driven product strategy is highly desirable. Benefits Competitive annual salary: Base salary ranging from $140,000 to $170,000, depending on experience, location, education, skills, responsibilities, and other relevant compensation factors. Comprehensive healthcare coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, with most benefits beginning on the first day of employment. Health savings and flexible spending accounts: Employer-funded Health Savings Account (HSA) options in coordination with an eligible high-deductible health plan, along with Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options. Retirement savings: Access to a 401(k) retirement plan. Insurance protection: Short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance. Flexible time off: Flexible paid time off, paid sick days, and 11 paid holidays. Family support: Paid parental and bonding leave. Additional time-off benefits: Career anniversary leave and other voluntary benefits. Remote work flexibility: The opportunity to work remotely from the United States. Career advancement: The chance to develop portfolio-level product expertise and progress toward broader product ownership and leadership responsibilities. Professional impact: An opportunity to influence strategic investments, shape a multi-product technology roadmap, and contribute to the modernization of the insurance industry.
