Full job description

N-iX is a global software development company founded in 2002, connecting over 2,400+ tech professionals across 40+ countries. We deliver innovative technology solutions in cloud computing, data analytics, AI, embedded software,IoT, and more to global industry leaders and Fortune 500 companies. Join us to create technology that drives real change for businesses and people across the world. Currently we are looking for Product Manager (Prototyping/Design Specialization). This is a product management role with a strong prototyping component. You will help prospective clients bring an idea to life as a tangible prototype and test whether it is worth pursuing before they commit significant investment. You may also be assigned to billable client engagements that call for product and prototyping skills, whether or not they follow from a workshop. Your time will be split between 3 kinds of work: 1.) Product Innovation Workshops.  Plan and run Innovation Workshops with prospective and existing clients, including our AI Prototyping Workshops, which convert early stakeholder ideas into value-generating projects for the customers and our consultancy business. The workshops are built to help a client decide whether an idea deserves further investment. You will facilitate them with the client's stakeholders. In other workshop formats, you may be asked to uncover value creation opportunities through collaborative methods such as design thinking, buyer journey mapping, service blueprints, and value chain maps. These help stakeholders see where today's way of working falls short and where change would matter most. 2.) Pre-sales Enablement.  Build prototypes that support a pre-sales proposal, tailored to the client's industry, user personas, business context, and constraints. Work with sales, solution architects, and delivery leads to sequence the scope of a proposal into phases such as a proof of concept (POC), a minimum viable product (MVP), and later iterations.  Design of presentation slides, including overview diagrams of a proposed solution. 3.) Billable Product Manager role in client engagements Engage in product discovery: stakeholder interviews, user research, problem framing, and requirements definition. Prepare and maintain a roadmap that reflects the agreed scope, dependencies, and critical dates, prioritized with the client's business and product leaders and subject matter experts against agreed business goals. Organize it around milestones that deliver real business value, so continued investment stays justified and benefits both the client and N-iX. Work with the delivery team (engineers, project managers, quality assurance) to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria, review work against them, and raise risks early. Keep scope, assumptions, and open decisions visible in writing, and flag when requests move outside the agreed statement of work (SOW) so the account and delivery leads can handle change control. Use product and user experience (UX) analytics to propose success measures the client can track. Additional Contribution to the Product Management Office  Contribute reusable workshop formats, prototype templates, and examples for our Product Management team. Share lessons from engagements with other product managers and with sales. What we are looking for: Product Management experience  2 or more years of prior experience in product management or product owner responsibilities, conducting requirements definition, user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog management.  Understanding of product discovery, lean practices, and prioritization techniques. Experience defining POC/MVP scope and articulating the business value creation of a proposed plan. Familiarity with product or UX analytics. Design & Prototyping experience 2+ Years experience in UI/UX or a related design role, with strong visual and interaction design skills. The ideal candidate is shifting from a UX to a Product-oriented Prototyping Innovation role.  You match the level of detail and polish of prototyping work to what is appropriate for the customer journey stage (pre-sales, workshop, or post-sale discovery), the solution lifecycle stage (prototype, MVP, or mature product), and the available budget. You also know when standard templates and design patterns are enough and when a specialized design is justified. Hands-on experience with AI-assisted prototyping tools such as Claude, Figma Make, or Lovable. Portfolio showcasing design and prototyping skills. Strong PowerPoint and visual storytelling skills. Communication & Facilitation Fluent English and strong communication skills. Experience facilitating workshops or client-facing sessions. Proficiency with Miro, FigJam, Lucid, or similar tools. Ability to challenge assumptions diplomatically and align stakeholders on priorities. Nice to Have Interest in AI-assisted engineering, AI-enabled SDLC, spec-driven development, or design systems for AI coding agents. We offer*: Flexible working format - remote, office-based or flexible A competitive salary and good compensation package Personalized career growth Professional development tools (mentorship program, tech talks and trainings, centers of excellence, and more) Active tech communities with regular knowledge sharing Education reimbursement Memorable anniversary presents Corporate events and team buildings Other location-specific benefits *not applicable for freelancers
