Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Marketing Manager based in Canada. This is a high-impact product marketing role connecting product strategy with the sales and marketing activities that drive business results. You will own go-to-market strategies and product launches from initial planning through execution, working closely with product, marketing, sales, and external partners. The role combines positioning, messaging, buyer research, competitive intelligence, and sales enablement. You will translate technical products into clear, compelling value propositions that resonate with target buyers. As part of a lean and entrepreneurial team, you will have significant ownership and autonomy while collaborating closely with experienced colleagues. AI-powered tools and workflows are also central to how the team researches, creates, launches, and enables products.

Plan and execute go-to-market strategies and launches for new products, features, and releases, coordinating cross-functional activities from planning through launch. Develop product marketing programs with the broader marketing team, including initiatives and budgets designed to retain existing customers and generate new business. Partner with demand generation and content teams to develop programs that support sustained pipeline and market demand. Measure the performance of product marketing programs, identify what is working and what needs improvement, and communicate actionable recommendations to stakeholders. Develop clear positioning, messaging, and content for target buyer personas in collaboration with product management and marketing communications teams. Translate complex product capabilities into clear explanations of customer value, using market evidence and customer insights to support messaging decisions. Represent products externally through written content, presentations, speaking opportunities, and other thought-leadership activities. Develop deep expertise in target buyers, including their needs, purchasing behaviors, decision criteria, information sources, and buying journeys. Monitor the competitive landscape, understand competitor positioning and strategic direction, and use these insights to strengthen marketing and sales strategies. Map and continuously improve the buyer journey by identifying key decision-makers, information sources, decision points, and opportunities to improve how products are marketed and sold. Enable sales and partner teams through training, battlecards, collateral, internal tools, and practical guidance on how and when to use product marketing materials. Convert positioning and messaging into effective resources that marketing, sales, and partner teams can immediately apply. Use AI tools to conduct market and competitive research, develop and test messaging, and create launch and sales enablement assets. Build and refine reusable AI-powered workflows, including prompts, templates, and agents, that can improve productivity across marketing and sales teams. Requirements: Bring 4+ years of B2B product marketing experience, with a strong track record in product launches, positioning, and messaging. Demonstrate hands-on sales enablement experience, including training sales teams and developing battlecards, collateral, and other resources that support commercial conversations. Have practical experience using AI tools in day-to-day marketing work, or demonstrate a strong ability and willingness to learn AI-powered workflows quickly. Bring strong product marketing fundamentals, with AI expertise considered a valuable advantage rather than a prerequisite. Have experience collaborating closely with product teams to contribute to or influence product strategy. Be comfortable working with technical teams and translating complex or technical products into clear, compelling buyer value; a technical background is a plus. Demonstrate strong quantitative and analytical skills, combined with excellent written and verbal communication, storytelling, positioning, and messaging abilities. Take a customer-centric approach and have experience engaging directly with customers to understand their needs, challenges, and buying behavior. Demonstrate strong cross-functional diplomacy, with the ability to challenge assumptions constructively, influence stakeholders, and know when to push back or collaborate more closely. Thrive in a small, entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment where ownership, initiative, adaptability, and independent decision-making are essential. Be highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously. Experience building AI workflows or automations for marketing or sales teams is a valuable additional asset. Benefits: Competitive base compensation of CA$116,000–CA$140,000, with the final level determined by market considerations and individual qualifications. Fully remote work opportunity based in Canada. Flexible working hours designed to support autonomy and work-life balance. Employee stock options. Comprehensive health benefits. Three weeks of vacation. Seven life leave days. Two professional development days dedicated to learning and growth. One paid volunteer day. Summer Fridays and a company-wide holiday closure during the December holiday period. Paid parental leave. $2,000 per year wellness and home office allowance. $5,000 per year professional development allowance. Opportunities to work with AI-powered marketing tools and develop innovative workflows and automations. A collaborative, inclusive, and performance-oriented environment that encourages experimentation, initiative, and continuous growth. Exposure to strategic product marketing across launches, buyer research, competitive intelligence, sales enablement, and go-to-market strategy.
