Program Manager – Cards Location: Belgium – Brussels About Capco Capco is a global business and technology consultancy specializing in financial services. About the Team You will join Capco's financial services consulting team and work with business leaders, technology teams and external partners on a major cards program. The assignment involves close collaboration across an international banking group, bringing together stakeholders with different priorities to deliver a coordinated program. The Role We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to lead the business delivery of a complex cards program. You will take ownership of program planning, governance and delivery, ensuring that objectives, resources, budgets and dependencies remain aligned. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, group-level teams and an external service provider. The role calls for someone who can combine a strategic view with disciplined execution, make informed decisions and maintain momentum across multiple projects and teams. This is a hybrid role based in Brussels, with regular travel to Paris for program and stakeholder meetings. What You Will Do Develop and maintain integrated program plans, aligning milestones, dependencies and delivery priorities across workstreams. Establish and manage program governance, including decision-making, escalation and reporting processes. Prepare and lead program boards and steering committees, presenting progress, risks and decisions clearly. Manage relationships with business and IT stakeholders, international group teams and external suppliers. Monitor delivery against scope, timelines and objectives, and coordinate actions to address delays or changing priorities. Identify and manage risks, issues and cross-project dependencies. Coordinate capacity planning and resource allocation across the program. Manage program budgets and business cases, monitoring financial performance and supporting investment decisions. Lead and motivate contributors, maintaining clear accountability and a shared focus on outcomes. What You Will Bring At least 10 years of relevant professional experience, including proven responsibility for complex projects or programs involving multiple workstreams. A strong understanding of banking operations and the ability to connect business objectives with technology delivery. Experience working across business and IT teams, with familiarity with enterprise IT systems and workflow processes. Strong knowledge of project and program management methodologies, such as Agile, PRINCE2 or PMBOK, and relevant planning and reporting tools such as Clarity or MS Project. Experience managing governance, senior stakeholders, budgets, resources, risks and delivery dependencies. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the diplomacy and confidence to align different interests and drive decisions. A structured, proactive and results-oriented approach, combined with strategic thinking, commercial awareness and a focus on customer outcomes. A master's degree or equivalent professional experience. Experience in the cards business, including card issuing or processing systems, is a strong advantage. Previous work with BNP Paribas or eWL, or on initiatives that centralize activities onto shared platforms within an international group, is also valuable. Languages Strong written and spoken English, plus professional proficiency in either French or Dutch, is required. Knowledge of both French and Dutch is an advantage. Why Join Capco?
