Shared Services sits within Digital at the Ministry of Justice and provides collaboration and productivity tools across the organisation, including Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive), Power Platform solutions and Microsoft Exchange services. Our teams develop, improve and support the digital services used by Courts and Tribunals. We are seeking a permanent, full-time Project Coordinator to support workstreams within Productivity & Collaboration Services. Our Project Coordinators work closely with Project Managers and managers, providing high-quality planning and coordination to support customer-focused project delivery across the Ministry. Key elements of the role include: Financial management of projects through budgeting, forecasting, invoicing. Assist in the preparation of governance and project documentation. Assist with project scheduling and wider planning activities Contribute to project issue/risk management process. Build and maintain effective relationships across digital and within the team. Ō pūkenga/Skills and Experience We are looking for someone with previous experience working within a project and/or ICT environment, supporting the delivery of digital or technology initiatives in a structured, governance-driven setting. You will be: A collaborative team member who thinks proactively and brings innovative, practical solutions to support effective project delivery. A fast learner who adapts quickly to changing priorities and is confident making sound decisions in dynamic environments. Positive, motivated and results-focused, with a strong commitment to delivering quality outcomes. Demonstrates cultural awareness and respect, with an understanding and appreciation of tikanga Māori and its application in the workplace. To be successful in this role, you will bring experience in: Project coordination or a similar fast-paced delivery environment. Financial systems, budgeting processes, and supporting financial reporting activities. Providing customer-focused support, with a proactive and service-oriented approach. Working effectively within large, complex and evolving organisational environments. A PRINCE2 qualification (desirable).
