Full job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Manager Lead based in United States. The Project Manager Lead will serve as the primary liaison between clients and production teams, ensuring packaging artwork projects move smoothly from initial requirements through final delivery. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating timelines, approvals, revisions, quality standards, and stakeholder communication. The role combines project management with hands-on artwork workflow oversight, requiring strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of packaging production. You will help safeguard brand consistency while ensuring artwork assets, technical specifications, and project documentation remain accurate and up to date. Working across client-facing, creative, production, and operational teams, you will identify risks, resolve issues, and improve workflows. This is a remote U.S. opportunity suited to an organized, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership of delivering high-quality results.
Manage client artwork files within artwork management and digital asset management systems, ensuring assets are accurate, properly organized, consistently tagged, and archived throughout the project lifecycle. Upload, track, and maintain artwork assets while troubleshooting issues within workflow and DAM systems and providing training or support to internal and external users. Apply client-specific style guides and brand guidelines to ensure packaging artwork remains accurate, consistent, and aligned with established standards. Act as the primary point of contact between clients and production teams, clearly communicating project requirements, timelines, feedback, priorities, and changes to all relevant stakeholders. Monitor project progress, coordinate artwork approvals and revisions, and ensure deliverables remain on schedule and meet agreed quality standards. Organize and lead client meetings and presentations while providing regular project status updates to internal stakeholders and client packaging design operations teams. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, documentation, and tracking systems while prioritizing multiple projects and competing deadlines. Identify project risks and operational issues early, coordinate appropriate solutions, and maintain momentum through final delivery. Review packaging layouts and supplied data to ensure compliance with brand guidelines, technical specifications, and project requirements before production begins. Serve as a brand guardian by maintaining client-specific nuances, brand assets, processes, and standards that support consistency across production activities. Conduct daily system and project reviews, ensuring order entries are complete, accurate, and sufficiently detailed before production begins. Collaborate with internal teams to improve workflow efficiency, share client preferences, and support consistent execution across the broader production network. Maintain accurate CRM data and provide weekly status reporting to internal and external stakeholders. Support audits, manufacturer reviews, distribution tracking, pricing updates, workflow adjustments, and broader process improvement initiatives. Requirements: Hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or demonstrate equivalent professional experience. Bring 3–5+ years of experience in project management, artwork production, packaging production, or a related field. Have a strong understanding of artwork production processes, workflows, approvals, and quality requirements. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical, creative, production, and client stakeholders. Be highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects, priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder requirements in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrate strong problem-solving, customer service, interpersonal, and time-management skills. Be proficient with project management software, workflow systems, CRM platforms, and other productivity tools. Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies, technical issues, and deviations from brand or project requirements. Experience with packaging, printing, or life sciences environments is preferred. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is preferred, particularly in environments involving artwork production. Experience with redlining and reviewing artwork or technical files with a high degree of precision is an advantage. PMP certification or an equivalent project management credential is preferred. Fluency in additional EMEA languages is a plus but is not required. Be comfortable working independently, taking ownership of deliverables, and responding with urgency when project or client issues arise. Benefits: Annual salary range of $50,000–$60,000 USD , with final compensation determined by location, experience, education, training, and other job-related factors. Fully remote position within the United States. Remote eligibility across multiple U.S. states, with the exception of AK, DC, ME, NH, NM, OK, HI, MS, MT, NV, NE, ND, SD, VT, WY, and WV . Flexible, project-based Flex Force work arrangement designed to support changing business demands and peak periods. Opportunity to work on projects involving packaging artwork, production workflows, brand management, and client operations. Exposure to cross-functional collaboration across client services, production, creative, and operational teams. Training and development opportunities within a global marketing services and technology environment. Opportunity to contribute to workflow optimization, operational excellence, and consistent brand execution. Flex Force employees may be re-engaged for future assignments as new business needs arise. Work schedules may vary based on business needs, with the understanding that hours are not guaranteed each week and periods between assignments may occur.
