Full job description

Physical Intelligence is bringing general-purpose AI into the physical world. We are a group of engineers, scientists, roboticists, and company builders developing learning algorithms to create a model that will control any robot to do any task. The Team We train robots on real-world tasks, and every task depends on the right objects being in the right place. As Props Coordinator, you'll own the supply of research props, from purchasing to kitting to delivery, and keep data collection running across three shifts. In This Role You Will

  • Purchase & Plan: Buy and track food, household items, and task-specific props, and plan daily quantities and timing so stock lasts and research never runs short.
  • Build & Audit Kits: Pull, label, and bag props into task kits and backstock bins, and audit kits daily for accuracy.
  • Coordinate the Team: Set daily priorities for a team of 9–11 prop contractors across shift handoffs.
  • Make the Call: Choose props for stage swaps that need diversity, and manage evaluation prop switches.
  • Fill Gaps: Step in as a runner during shortfalls. What We Hope You'll Bring
  • 2+ years in purchasing, inventory, kitchen, retail, or warehouse operations.
  • Experience coordinating a team's daily work.
  • Strong judgment on quantities, timing, and priorities.
  • Flexibility to vary hours to overlap morning, swing, and overnight shifts. Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
