QA Engineer II

The QA Engineer II is responsible for leading and executing both manual and automated testing activities to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable software products. The role involves greater ownership of test planning, design, and execution, along with mentoring junior QA engineers and contributing to continuous improvement of testing frameworks and practices. This position plays a key role in analyzing risks, defining test strategies, automating critical test scenarios, managing defect resolution, and supporting product releases. The QA Engineer II works closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management and design, to enhance product quality and ensure alignment with business requirements in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

4+ years of experience in defining and developing functional test scenarios, regression tests, negative test cases, and usability tests. Participate in the design and development of test automation frameworks and solutions across our entire stack Work with Product, Design, and Engineering teams on requirements gathering and evaluation Establish goals for manual testing and & automation for new & existing features Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, test estimates, schedules and potential risks Actively utilize Claude Code in daily engineering workflows to accelerate test authoring, debug pipeline failures, and streamline test framework maintenance. Contribute to our AI-assisted testing capabilities by leveraging custom AI commands, optimizing prompts, and sharing efficient workflows across the team. Utilize generative AI and LLMs to author test cases, write automated testing scripts, and optimize test infrastructure, consistently increasing test coverage Be a vocal champion for quality in every phase of the development process Work with our Customer Success team on investigating customer-facing issues and drive issues to closure Perform production post-deployment validations, test and coordinate deployment of the hotfixes ​​Demonstrate proactive ownership, promote a solution-oriented mindset, foster resilience, collaboration and knowledge sharing across the QA department.
