Review, approve, or reject credentialing documents submitted through the designated credentialing system, including professional licenses, certifications, and background reports. Ensure each candidate's file is assigned the appropriate status and progresses correctly through the credentialing and onboarding workflow. Verify the accuracy, completeness, and validity of documentation against facility-specific requirements, established protocols, and applicable standards. Communicate clearly with internal and external Onboarding Specialists, providing concise explanations and actionable feedback when documentation is rejected or requires correction. Monitor corrected and resubmitted documents, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of outstanding issues. Review suppressed documentation items to confirm that records have been handled accurately and in accordance with established procedures. Monitor at-risk credentialing documents and verify that the appropriate review and follow-up processes have been completed. Approve pending items when requirements have been satisfied and the applicable procedures permit approval. Notify Onboarding Specialists when file audits are complete, communicating findings and ensuring that corrective actions are addressed promptly. Confirm that credentialing files meet all applicable requirements before being marked as ready for the clinician's start date. Track documentation rejection trends, identify recurring errors, and recommend improvements to enhance accuracy, consistency, and processing efficiency. Support additional projects and operational initiatives as business needs evolve. Maintain high standards of professionalism, organization, and service when collaborating with colleagues and supporting onboarding operations. Requirements: Experience working in a customer service environment, with the ability to communicate professionally and maintain a positive, helpful attitude. Typing speed of approximately 40–50 words per minute, supporting efficient documentation review and data entry. Strong computer skills and the ability to navigate digital systems, manage electronic records, and process documentation accurately. Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to identify discrepancies, missing information, and inconsistencies in credentialing files. Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage a large and growing workload, and meet strict deadlines. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining accuracy and consistency in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong grammar, clear documentation notes, and the ability to explain quality issues constructively. A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across internal and external teams. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to follow established procedures while recognizing opportunities for process improvement. A positive attitude, friendly demeanor, reliability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
