Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Quality Lead based in the United States. The Quality Lead will drive quality management, compliance, inspection readiness, and continuous improvement across a mission-focused technical environment. This role owns the Quality Management Plan and ensures that processes, procedures, and applicable requirements are consistently implemented. You will lead a small quality team while partnering closely with project managers, government technical staff, customers, and other stakeholders. The position combines hands-on quality assurance with data-driven assessments, risk identification, issue resolution, and process optimization. You will also contribute to safety initiatives and help strengthen communication and performance across technical and operational teams. The role is fully remote and offers the opportunity to support complex IT and 5G-related programs without requiring deep technical specialization. Success in this position requires strong leadership, communication, quality expertise, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Own, maintain, and continuously update the Quality Management Plan (QMP), ensuring processes, procedures, and applicable requirements remain current, compliant, and effectively implemented. Lead and mentor a quality team of approximately 10–15 professionals, establishing accountability and supporting consistent quality outcomes. Partner with project managers, stakeholders, government technical personnel, and customers to define requirements, identify risks, and determine appropriate corrective actions. Develop and deliver clear quality reports, status updates, inspection findings, presentations, and senior-level briefings. Design, lead, and continuously refine quality assurance inspection processes to support consistent delivery against performance and mission requirements. Conduct quality assessments, test analysis, and data-driven evaluations to verify compliance and identify improvement opportunities. Champion continuous improvement initiatives designed to improve organizational performance, optimize schedules, and reduce costs. Identify and proactively address quality issues while supporting effective communication and resolution across stakeholders. Promote appropriate safety precautions, lead safety-related briefings, and facilitate communication between senior management, safety teams, and contractor personnel. Collaborate with IT and 5G program teams to integrate quality processes effectively into technical environments. Support broader organizational quality, compliance, and operational excellence initiatives as required. Requirements 8–10 years of relevant professional experience, with substantial experience in quality management and quality program execution. Demonstrated ownership and management of a Quality Management Plan or comparable quality framework. Experience leading small teams in quality, operations, engineering, or related environments. Hands-on experience with QA inspection processes, quality assessments, test analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical, operational, government, and senior-level stakeholders. Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder-management capabilities. Active Secret security clearance and ability to maintain the required clearance. U.S. citizenship is required. Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred. Experience supporting IT or 5G programs is preferred but not required. Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous. Ability to travel approximately 10–25% as required. Benefits Remote work opportunity within the United States. Target salary range of $111,155–$150,385 , with actual compensation based on experience, geographic location, and applicable contractual requirements. Comprehensive medical plan options, including plans with Health Savings Accounts. Dental and vision insurance options. 401(k) retirement plan with company matching and pre- and post-tax contribution options. Flexible work arrangements and full-flex work weeks where applicable. Paid vacation, sick, personal, holiday, parental, military, bereavement, and jury-duty leave. Typically 15 days of paid leave per calendar year for new employees, plus 10 paid holidays, prorated based on hire date. Up to 160 hours of paid family leave over a rolling 12-month period for eligible employees. Short- and long-term disability coverage. Life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage. Personal accident, critical illness, and business travel and accident insurance options. AI-powered career development tools and internal mobility support. Opportunities for professional growth, learning, and career advancement. Work within an innovation-focused environment supporting technology and mission-driven programs.
