Overview

Complete scholarship details
The program can cover up to 95% of semester tuition throughout the degree, subject to need and available funding. It is a no-interest 'beca con compromiso': after graduation and once earning income, beneficiaries commit to contribute up to 20% of income for a period tied to the time they received support, helping replenish the fund for future students.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must be newly admitted undergraduate students, generally 16–21 years old, and must first be preselected and notified. The current page states Saber 11 thresholds of 380 for most programs and 400 for Medicine, or the stated equivalents, with socioeconomic factors also considered.
Tips for this scholarship
Practical Job and Scholarship guidance. These tips do not replace official rules or create new eligibility requirements.
- Check eligibility, funding coverage, study/project level and every required document before investing time in the application.
- Prepare transcripts, references, language tests, proposal/motivation statement and proof documents early.
- Separate the scholarship deadline from any university/program admission deadline; they may be different.
- Treat “fully funded” as a source fact only when the official provider explicitly confirms the covered costs.
Verification notes
Verified against the current official Uniandes Quiero Estudiar page for the 2027-10 cycle. The source gives a calendar closing date but no safe closing timezone, so deadline_date is used.
Job and Scholarship is the discovery and verification layer. Confirm eligibility, dates, salary/funding and application instructions on the original source before submitting anything.
