Reconciliations Manager

We are currently looking for a meticulous, proactive and hands-on Reconciliations Manager to join our Digital Assets Finance team, reporting to the Head of Finance. If you have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills and want to design, build and own a process end to end, this opportunity is for you.

Responsible for the design, implementation, launch and daily running of all Finance department reconciliations for the Digital Assets operations. Responsible for reconciling client transactions, liquidity provider and banking institution data into NetSuite, ensuring completeness and accuracy between source systems — including Kyriba, Tres Finance and the internal ledger - working closely with the Digital Assets Treasury team who own on-chain reconciliation. Automation of reconciliation processes using AI systems and available resources to ensure the highest level of accuracy, speed and results, with appropriate review over any control that feeds financial or regulatory reporting. Resolution of reconciling items promptly, working with other teams to find root causes and issues, flagging open items and escalating material discrepancies. Production of clear reconciliation reports for internal stakeholders, supporting audit readiness across all relevant entities, including ad hoc reconciliations and internal reporting as needed. Drafting of reconciliation policies, tolerances, break-ageing and escalation matrices and subsequent continuous improvement and elevation of reconciliation processes, spotting internal control weaknesses or system gaps and working with relevant teams to implement enhancements. Ownership of the hiring, onboarding and development of the reconciliations team as it grows. Working within Capital.com’s internal policies, procedures and regulatory obligations at all times.

At least 6 years of hands-on reconciliations, back office or finance experience in the FX/CFD/crypto industry or a comparably regulated financial services environment. Experience leading or mentoring a small team is strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience building or materially redesigning a reconciliation process, rather than only operating an established one. Degree in Accounting, Finance or a business-related field — or equivalent practical experience. Professional-level English, written and spoken. Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of SQL would be considered an advantage. Knowledge of NetSuite, Kyriba or Tres Finance will be considered an advantage. Experience automating reconciliation workflows, scripting or AI tooling. Sharp attention to detail and strong analytical thinking. Ability to manage a high-volume daily workload, prioritize well and meet strict deadlines. Confidence working across multiple departments — including Treasury, Operations and Compliance — to source data, agree cut-offs and resolve breaks. Discretion and integrity when handling sensitive financial and client data.
