As Regional Vice President of Commerce, you will drive new business growth by expanding the organization's presence across diverse industries beyond the automotive sector. You will own the entire sales cycle, from identifying high-potential prospects and initiating outreach to developing proposals, negotiating agreements, and closing new business. You will focus on industries such as home services, retail, funeral services, franchises, and other multi-location consumer businesses. Through consultative selling, compelling presentations, and strategic relationship building, you will establish a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities and generate sustainable revenue. As a remote individual contributor, you will enjoy significant autonomy while collaborating with strategy, creative, media, and account management teams to deliver integrated solutions. This role is ideal for a results-driven sales professional who thrives on winning new business, building lasting partnerships, and translating customer challenges into measurable commercial opportunities.

Pipeline Generation: Build a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities through direct outreach, professional networking, referrals, industry relationships, and collaboration with internal teams. Consultative Selling and Discovery: Lead discovery conversations to understand prospects' business objectives, challenges, existing marketing strategies, budgets, and decision-making processes. Translate these insights into relevant business opportunities. Proposal Development: Collaborate with strategy, creative, media, and other subject matter experts to develop tailored proposals that connect integrated marketing and advertising services to specific client goals. Sales Presentations: Deliver at least six formal sales presentations to qualified prospects per quarter, clearly communicating recommended solutions, business value, and potential outcomes. Negotiation and Deal Closing: Maintain consistent follow-up, address objections, negotiate commercial terms, and guide opportunities through the sales process to secure signed agreements. CRM and Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer relationship management records, documenting prospect interactions, opportunity stages, projected revenue, next steps, and expected closing dates. Revenue Forecasting and Reporting: Provide regular pipeline updates, sales forecasts, and performance insights to executive leadership to support revenue planning and strategic decision-making. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal strategy, creative, media, and delivery teams to ensure proposals are feasible, client expectations are aligned, and commercial commitments are clearly documented. Client Handover and Relationship Continuity: Facilitate effective transitions from sales to account management and delivery teams, ensuring relevant client information, agreed objectives, and contractual commitments are communicated clearly. Market Intelligence and Positioning: Share prospect feedback, industry trends, competitive insights, and emerging customer needs to help refine service positioning and improve sales strategies across non-automotive markets. Performance and Goal Achievement: Deliver measurable results against new revenue targets, qualified pipeline development, opportunity progression, and quarterly sales presentation expectations. Requirements: Professional Experience: At least 5 years of sales experience with a demonstrated track record of acquiring new clients and generating revenue. Full-Cycle Sales Expertise: Proven experience managing the complete sales process, including prospect research, outbound outreach, discovery, proposal development, presentations, negotiation, follow-up, and closing. Consultative Selling Skills: Ability to understand complex business challenges and translate them into compelling marketing and advertising recommendations that align with client objectives. Communication and Presentation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver persuasive presentations, articulate value propositions, address objections, and engage decision-makers. Relationship Building and Networking: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish credibility, develop trusted client relationships, and leverage professional networks to generate new opportunities. Pipeline Management and Forecasting: A disciplined approach to CRM documentation, opportunity tracking, revenue forecasting, and sales performance management. Strategic and Commercial Thinking: Ability to identify high-potential markets, assess business opportunities, prioritize prospects, and develop sales strategies that support sustainable growth. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with internal specialists and delivery teams to develop tailored proposals, align service offerings with client needs, and ensure smooth handovers after closing. Autonomy and Accountability: Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage competing priorities, maintain consistent follow-up, and take ownership of sales outcomes. Preferred Industry Experience: Previous sales experience within an advertising agency, marketing services company, or related business is highly desirable. Integrated Marketing Knowledge: Familiarity with services such as paid media, search engine optimization (SEO), website development, creative production, and marketing strategy is an advantage. Target Market Familiarity: Experience selling to home services businesses, retail organizations, funeral service providers, franchises, or multi-location consumer businesses is preferred. Established Industry Network: Existing professional relationships within one or more target industries are a valuable asset. Results-Oriented Mindset: A proactive, resilient, and commercially driven approach, with a strong commitment to building pipeline, converting opportunities, and consistently achieving sales objectives. Benefits: Remote work flexibility: Work remotely from within the United States. Autonomy and ownership: Manage the full sales cycle and take responsibility for developing prospects, advancing opportunities, and closing new business.
