Our partner is looking for a Regional Vice President, Sales – Supply Chain SaaS based in the United States. The Regional Vice President of Sales will lead regional growth across enterprise retail, wholesale, and distribution markets in North America, with a focus on the Eastern United States and Canada. This senior leadership role combines strategic sales planning, team development, and executive-level relationship building to drive adoption of AI-powered supply chain planning solutions. You will lead a distributed team of enterprise sales professionals, develop new business opportunities, and expand relationships with strategic customers. Working closely with business development, presales, alliances, marketing, and customer success teams, you will connect advanced technology with measurable commercial outcomes. You will champion value-based selling, helping customers understand how AI and analytics can improve forecasting, inventory availability, profitability, and operational efficiency. This is an opportunity to shape regional sales strategy, develop future sales leaders, and contribute to the evolution of intelligent retail and supply chain planning.

Define and execute the regional sales strategy across retail, wholesale, and distribution markets, balancing new business acquisition, account development, strategic account management, and existing-customer expansion. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing, geographically distributed enterprise sales team, fostering an inclusive culture built on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Establish and strengthen executive-level relationships with major retailers, wholesalers, and distributors across the United States and Canada, positioning the organization as a long-term strategic partner. Drive value-based selling by developing compelling business cases, quantifying return on investment (ROI), and connecting AI-driven planning solutions to measurable improvements in product availability, margins, waste reduction, and workforce productivity. Help customers understand the practical business applications of AI and machine learning, addressing data quality, transparency, governance, change management, and responsible AI adoption. Integrate AI-enabled sales tools and analytics into account planning, pipeline management, forecasting, customer research, and sales coaching to improve team performance. Collaborate closely with business development representatives (BDRs), presales, alliances, marketing, customer success, and sales operations to deliver a coordinated customer experience and achieve regional objectives. Maintain accurate Salesforce records and use reliable data to support pipeline reviews, sales forecasting, performance analysis, and regional reporting. Represent the organization at customer meetings, industry events, partner engagements, and market forums to strengthen relationships and increase market visibility. Identify growth opportunities, refine sales processes, and mentor emerging leaders to build a sustainable regional sales organization. Requirements: At least 10 years of experience in enterprise software solution selling, including a minimum of 5 years leading enterprise software sales teams. Proven success selling into retail, wholesale, or distribution organizations across the United States and Canada. Experience managing distributed sales teams and complex, multi-state territories. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales strategies that deliver growth through new customer acquisition, account hunting, account management, and expansion of existing accounts. Direct industry experience selling AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, or supply chain planning software to retailers, wholesalers, or distributors. Familiarity with retail and supply chain planning domains, including demand forecasting, replenishment, merchandising, pricing, and workforce management. Strong value-selling capabilities, including experience developing customer business cases, financial models, and ROI analyses. Business-level fluency in AI and machine learning, with the ability to explain how these technologies improve planning and operational decisions and to discuss data readiness, governance, responsible AI, and organizational change with senior executives. Comfort using AI-enabled sales tools, including conversation intelligence, account research, and pipeline analytics, to improve individual and team performance. Demonstrated experience building, mentoring, and developing diverse sales teams, including cultivating future sales leaders. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to produce compelling proposals, clear internal updates, and accurate sales reports and forecasts. A collaborative, pragmatic leadership style and a strong track record of working effectively across sales, business development, presales, alliances, and sales operations. A customer-focused mindset, with a commitment to building lasting, mutually beneficial client relationships and delivering measurable business value. Benefits: Remote work opportunity, with responsibility for a regional territory spanning the Eastern United States and relevant North American markets. Opportunity to lead enterprise sales strategy and influence growth across major retail, wholesale, and distribution accounts. A collaborative, international working environment that values openness, creativity, inclusion, and shared success. The opportunity to work with AI-powered planning technologies and help customers improve supply chain performance, profitability, and sustainability. Close collaboration with experienced professionals across sales, technology, customer success, and industry strategy. Opportunities to develop sales leadership capabilities, mentor emerging talent, and contribute to the growth of a global enterprise software business.
