Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Regional VP, Oncology Sales based in the United States. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic sales leader to drive growth across oncology community clinics, ambulatory infusion centers (AICs), and alternate sites of care. In this remote, field-based role, you will develop new business opportunities, strengthen existing partnerships, and deliver tailored solutions that support healthcare providers and their patients. You will leverage your expertise in oncology and pharmaceutical distribution to navigate complex healthcare markets and build lasting relationships with key decision-makers. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help shape sales strategies, enhance customer experiences, and expand market presence. This position offers significant autonomy, a growth-oriented environment, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on healthcare delivery. Regular travel, representing approximately 50% of the role, will support customer engagement, business development, and industry networking.

Develop and execute strategic sales and business development plans to drive growth across oncology community clinics, ambulatory infusion centers, and alternate sites of care. Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts and strengthening long-term customer partnerships. Build and maintain trusted relationships with healthcare providers, practice administrators, and other key decision-makers, positioning the organization as a reliable strategic partner. Understand customer needs, operational challenges, and growth objectives to deliver tailored solutions, relevant insights, and ongoing support. Collaborate with Marketing, Pricing, Operations, Customer Service, and senior leadership to implement strategic initiatives, address customer challenges, and improve the overall customer experience. Monitor specialty pharmaceutical trends, reimbursement developments, competitive activity, and broader market dynamics to identify growth opportunities and inform sales strategies. Manage territory performance, customer engagement, follow-up activities, and sales forecasting while maintaining an accurate and up-to-date CRM pipeline. Represent the organization at customer meetings, industry conferences, and networking events to strengthen market relationships and expand business opportunities. Achieve sales objectives through effective customer retention, account expansion, new business acquisition, and cross-functional collaboration. Requirements: Demonstrated experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, ideally within buy-and-bill sites of care, oncology practices, or community-based healthcare settings. Proven success in sales leadership, business development, account management, or strategic customer relationship management, with a track record of delivering measurable growth. Strong understanding of oncology, oncology practices, and the commercial and operational factors that support practice growth. Experience with a specialty pharmaceutical manufacturer, community-facing group purchasing organization (GPO), specialty distributor, or comparable healthcare organization is strongly preferred. Established relationships within oncology practices, community clinics, ambulatory infusion centers, or alternate sites of care are highly desirable. Excellent relationship-building, communication, negotiation, customer service, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clinical and administrative decision-makers. Strong organizational, territory-management, and pipeline-management capabilities, including proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of specialty therapies in oncology, immunology, nephrology, neurology, or ophthalmology is an additional advantage. A bachelor's degree is strongly preferred. Willingness to travel regularly for customer visits, business development, and industry events, with approximately 50% travel expected. Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage. Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA), Health Savings Account (HSA), and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options. Life insurance and disability coverage to support financial security and well-being. Paid time off and company holidays to promote work-life balance. 401(k) retirement savings plan with a company match. Vehicle allowance to support travel and field-based customer engagement. Fitness reimbursement to encourage employee health and wellness. Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offering additional personal and professional support. Remote work arrangement within the United States, combined with field-based customer engagement and autonomy in managing territory activities. The opportunity to contribute to meaningful healthcare outcomes while developing strategic partnerships and driving measurable business growth.
