If you feel you have lost your 'spark' and want to get back to delivering personalised nursing care to your patients this could be the opportunity for you.We have a position available for a Registered Nurse who will deliver patient centred Hospital in the Home (HiTH) care across a variety of settings, ensuring that care provided is safe, appropriate and effective. This role will work collaboratively with other teams to provide support to patients to receive acute nursing interventions and care in their preferred place of residence. This is a permanent part-time position, working 32 hours per week. This role is based in Whangarei with our nurses working across a 7-day roster between the hours of 8am and 1630, there are no night shifts.Click here to view the position description.About the Team/Service/LocationHospital in The Home (HiTH) is a short time limited acute episode of hospital care that is delivered in a patients preferred place of residence. It provides access to specialist acute care that is equivalent to a patient occupying an inpatient bed and includes access to hospital specialists, nursing and to all diagnostic services and medications.For more information on living and working in Northland, click hereAbout youRegistration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ) and a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)Previous New Zealand nursing experience in the acute care setting with demonstrated high acuity clinical skills, excellent patient assessment skills and experience with administration of IV medications.Great communication skills to ensure patients understand medication/treatment and condition and instructions provided.Current full NZ drivers licenceDemonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable (no task is too big or too small for you)Willing to contribute to the development of a new service and to help with the formation of a new teamWorking at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
