The 14.5-month position supports the DOPED project on diamond and gallium-oxide interfaces for power-electronic devices. Work focuses on electrical characterization using advanced junction spectroscopies such as TAS and DLTS. The preferred start is 15 October 2026 and the latest possible end date is 31 December 2027. The listing states NOK 620,000–720,000 depending on competence and experience.

Requirements & qualifications

Applicants must hold a PhD equivalent to a Norwegian doctoral degree in physics, materials chemistry, nanotechnology or a similar field. Required experience includes spectroscopic electrical characterization of semiconductor junctions and metal-contact formation using vacuum deposition; fluent English is required.
