The Rhodes Scholarship is a fully funded, full-time postgraduate award for study at the University of Oxford. Current Rhodes Trust guidance says the award covers Oxford course fees and an annual stipend. Following selection, the Trust also covers the Oxford course application fee, student visa and Immigration Health Surcharge fees, two economy-class flights to and from the UK, and a settling-in allowance. Course combinations and duration depend on the current Conditions of Tenure.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must satisfy the Canada constituency rules and Rhodes general academic and age criteria. Canada uses regional selection committees, and applicants studying in Canada apply through an eligible region based on ordinary residence or the institution granting their degree; applicants must also obtain certification from their undergraduate institution.
