Ruwa Local Board invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill five (5) Municipal Police Private positions within the Council.

• Job Title: Municipal Police Privates (5 Posts)

• Job Grade: Grade 3

Key Job Functions

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

• Safeguarding Council premises and property.

• Enforcing Council by-laws.

• Traffic control.

• Vending control.

• Carrying out intensive patrols within Ruwa Local Board’s area of jurisdiction.

• Performing any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.

Minimum Job Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Five (5) Ordinary Level passes, including English Language.

• At least one year of relevant working experience.

• Be physically fit.

• Be able to use firearms and handle dogs.
