Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) based in Spain. The Sales Development Representative will play a key role in driving new business opportunities across Switzerland and Austria within a dynamic B2B technology environment. You will identify potential customers, initiate meaningful conversations, and qualify prospects to help the sales team build a strong pipeline. Working closely with Account Executives and Marketing, you will contribute to targeted outreach strategies and share valuable insights from the market. This role combines outbound prospecting, inbound lead qualification, and relationship-building with opportunities to develop your commercial skills. You will use modern CRM, AI, and prospecting tools to improve your effectiveness and stay organized. It is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, curious professional to build a career in technology sales within a collaborative, growth-oriented, and flexible remote-working environment.

Generate new business opportunities: Reach out to potential customers through phone calls, email, and LinkedIn to initiate conversations and create interest in the company's solutions. Research target accounts: Identify relevant companies across Switzerland and Austria, research their needs, and find the right decision-makers to contact. Qualify leads: Follow up on inbound leads from marketing campaigns, events, and demo requests, assessing their needs and potential before passing qualified opportunities to Account Executives. Understand customer challenges: Ask thoughtful questions, uncover business needs, and identify how technology solutions may address prospects' challenges. Manage prospecting activities: Use HubSpot, AI-powered tools, and other prospecting platforms to organize outreach, track interactions, and continuously improve results. Collaborate across teams: Work closely with Sales and Marketing to coordinate lead generation efforts, align outreach strategies, and share feedback and market insights. Build sales expertise: Learn from experienced colleagues, refine prospecting techniques, and contribute to the development of a consistent and effective sales pipeline. Requirements Native-level Swiss German, strong standard German, and fluency in English. Ability to work remotely from a European country where the partner company can legally employ you, with occasional travel to Switzerland and Austria as needed. Between 0 and 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or another customer-facing role; relevant internships are also welcome. Confidence in making outbound calls, initiating conversations with unfamiliar contacts, and engaging potential customers professionally. Resilience when facing rejection, with the motivation to stay focused, learn from feedback, and maintain consistent outreach. Genuine curiosity about technology and a strong interest in developing a career in B2B sales. Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple prospects and follow-ups effectively. A proactive, adaptable, and collaborative approach, with a willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks. Nice to have: Experience in SaaS, B2B technology, consulting, or a similar commercial environment. Nice to have: Familiarity with CRM or prospecting tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Clay, or Apollo. Nice to have: Internships, academic projects, or extracurricular activities that demonstrate initiative, curiosity, and a commitment to personal development. Benefits Flexible remote work: Work remotely from an eligible European country, with opportunities to work from different locations through workation arrangements. Generous annual leave: Enjoy 30 vacation days per year. Flexible working hours: Organize your working day with flexibility while supporting team and business needs. Professional development: Access a career framework designed to support personal and professional growth, with up to six additional days off per year dedicated to development. Social impact: Benefit from one paid Social Day each year to support a community initiative or cause you care about. Hybrid collaboration: Work remotely while connecting with colleagues in person at the office when collaboration and team activities benefit from it. Collaborative international environment: Join a diverse European team that values customer success, ownership, continuous improvement, and mutual respect. Career-building opportunities: Develop practical sales skills, gain exposure to B2B technology sales, and learn alongside Sales and Marketing professionals.
