This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Engineer based in United States. This remote role combines technical expertise, consultative selling, and solution architecture within the healthcare IT space. You will partner closely with sales and business development teams to guide prospective clients through complex technology decisions. The role focuses on healthcare interoperability, Health Information Exchanges (HIE), and Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) initiatives. You will lead technical discovery, design integration architectures, develop effort estimates and pricing models, and support proposals throughout the sales cycle. You will also demonstrate solutions and translate complex technical concepts into compelling business value for diverse stakeholders. Partner with sales teams to develop and expand client relationships across federal, state, and commercial markets. Support complex B2B sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers and technical stakeholders. Lead technical discovery sessions, understand client requirements, and recommend appropriate technology solutions. Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution overviews to prospective clients. Design conceptual integration architectures across a diverse range of technologies and customer environments. Develop detailed work breakdown structures, effort estimates, pricing models, and other materials supporting business development opportunities. Provide substantial technical input and written content for RFx responses and proposals. Maintain strong knowledge of available products, services, healthcare IT technologies, and relevant market developments. Research competitive offerings and develop effective positioning strategies for prospective customers. Represent the organization at trade shows, marketing events, and other industry engagements. Build trusted relationships with clients by advocating for customer needs, satisfaction, and long-term success. Collaborate with proposal, business development, and sales teams to develop compelling and technically accurate solutions. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in sales engineering, technical consulting, solution architecture, or a related technical role. Proven experience in healthcare IT, system integration, data-driven solutions, or a closely related field. Hands-on knowledge of healthcare interoperability solutions, EMRs, interface engines, and Health Information Exchange (HIE) systems. Strong understanding of HL7, FHIR, and IHE profiles; experience with InterSystems technologies is highly preferred. Experience with business-to-business and/or public sector sales in a technical or consultative capacity. Familiarity with database technologies, including document, vector, or object-oriented databases, is preferred. Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or R, along with the ability and willingness to learn new technologies. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong negotiation, problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to manage changing priorities, multiple projects, and demanding sales cycles while maintaining attention to detail. Customer-focused mindset with a strong commitment to client satisfaction and successful outcomes. Ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, vendors, and other business stakeholders in a remote environment. Ability to work primarily at a computer for extended periods and occasionally travel as required. Reliable home-office setup with internet speeds of at least 25 Mbps download and 1.5 Mbps upload, using a private Wi-Fi network with a strong, unique password.
