The Head of Growth, Brazil is a country-level sales leadership role responsible for driving the overall advertising revenue growth strategy for the Brazilian market within the Global Growth Sales team (GGS). This leader will manage a team of Account Executives (AEs) focused on growing Sponsored Ads revenue, activating new advertisers, and graduating search-only spenders to full-funnel advertising solutions. The role requires a strategic thinker who can balance operational excellence with long-term market development in one of Amazon's fastest-growing international marketplaces.

Key job responsibilities • Define and execute the commercial strategy for GGS Brazil, including revenue targets, market expansion, and advertiser acquisition/retention • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of Account Executives with an outbound "hunter" mentality • Drive Sponsored Ads adoption and graduation of search-only spenders to full-funnel solutions (SP, SB, SD, DSP) • Create scalable and codified sales playbooks tailored to the Brazilian market • Own quarterly business reviews, advertiser business planning, and annual media planning • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, analytics, and global GGS peers • Represent the voice of Brazil advertisers to influence product roadmap and go-to-market strategies • Foster an inclusive, inputs-driven team culture focused on sharing, learning, and innovating Deliver measurable results in YoY revenue growth, advertiser satisfaction, renewal rates, and operational quality metrics • Deep understanding of the Brazilian digital advertising ecosystem and local advertiser landscape

About the team The Global Growth Sales (GGS) team helps mid-sized endemic brands, across product categories, scale their businesses on Amazon through display and cost-per-click advertising programs based on their business goals. The GGS International team operates across multiple countries, driving revenue growth and advertiser adoption of Amazon Ads solutions including Sponsored Products (SP), Sponsored Brands (SB), Sponsored Display (SD), and Display/Video Advertising (DVA).

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of digital advertising, product marketing, consulting, business development, or other customer-facing role experience
  • Experience hiring and developing sales management teams
  • Experience building new customer relationships, closing sales and generating revenue
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce, and web-based meeting applications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English & Portuguese

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals
  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership, or experience communicating complex information and solutions to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions
  • Experience managing multiple projects in parallel through prioritization, planning, and task delegation
  • • Experience in programmatic advertising, sponsored ads, or performance marketing
  • • Experience working in a matrixed, global organization
  • • MBA or advanced degree
