Full job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Salesforce Administrator based in United States. This is a remote contract opportunity for an experienced Salesforce professional to modernize and optimize a Sales Cloud environment supporting a growing Business Development organization. You will assess the existing Salesforce setup, define a future-state architecture, and lead its implementation. The role offers meaningful ownership across workflows, integrations, automation, data quality, and user experience. You will work closely with senior leadership and business stakeholders to translate sales requirements into practical, scalable solutions. The initial engagement is structured around discovery and design, implementation, and ongoing support. It is an ideal opportunity for a hands-on Salesforce expert who enjoys improving systems, simplifying processes, and enabling teams to work more effectively.
Audit, assess, and document the current Salesforce Sales Cloud environment, identifying opportunities for modernization and improvement. Design the future-state Salesforce environment, including scope, priorities, implementation approach, and recommended solutions. Establish a safe and repeatable change-management process by setting up a sandbox, deployment workflow, documentation, and team training. Partner with the Business Development team to gather and refine requirements for sales workflows and translate them into production-ready Salesforce configuration, including record types, page layouts, fields, and Flows. Scope, configure, and document integrations with business applications such as Maxio, PandaDoc, and other relevant tools, including data mapping, synchronization rules, and error handling. Modernize the Salesforce user experience through Lightning pages, Dynamic Forms, improved layouts, dashboards, and sales-focused home pages. Identify repetitive manual processes and automate them using Salesforce Flow wherever appropriate. Evaluate relevant AppExchange solutions and provide clear recommendations based on business value, cost, and implementation tradeoffs. Lead data-quality initiatives, including deduplication, field standardization, validation rules, and processes that help maintain clean data over time. Provide ongoing Salesforce support and maintenance following the initial modernization project. Requirements 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Sales Cloud administration or consulting experience, preferably within small to mid-sized organizations. Salesforce Administrator certification is required; Salesforce Platform App Builder or Advanced Administrator certification is a plus. Strong Salesforce Flow expertise and a declarative-first approach, with the judgment to recognize when custom development or code is genuinely necessary. Experience translating business requirements into scalable Salesforce configurations and practical user workflows. Strong understanding of Salesforce administration, including record types, page layouts, fields, Lightning Experience, Dynamic Forms, automation, data management, and deployment practices. Experience designing or managing integrations between Salesforce and third-party business applications is highly valued. Strong documentation and change-control discipline, with the ability to create processes that internal teams can maintain independently. Comfortable working directly with executive stakeholders, communicating technical concepts and tradeoffs clearly, challenging assumptions when appropriate, and operating independently. Strong problem-solving, communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills. Experience with multi-brand Salesforce environments, B2B and B2C sales motions, or marketplace and creator-focused businesses is a plus. Benefits Fully remote contract opportunity. Engagement structured across three phases: discovery and design, future-state implementation, and ongoing support and maintenance. Opportunity to lead a Salesforce modernization initiative with significant ownership and visible business impact. Direct collaboration with executive leadership and Business Development stakeholders. Flexible remote environment designed for experienced consultants who can work independently. Opportunity to shape scalable Salesforce processes, integrations, automation, data practices, and user experiences from the ground up.
