LISBON The FARFETCH office located within the Sítio co-working space network in Lisbon is designed to be a highly flexible and well-connected hub. This is centrally-located workspace close to major business areas, and a vibrant spot. TECHNOLOGY The Technology team builds end-to-end products and solutions that power our marketplace, delivering an incredible experience for customers globally. From understanding customer and partner needs to designing and testing innovative hypotheses, we create industry-leading experiences for luxury customers everywhere. THE ROLE Reporting to the Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for improving, expanding, and maintaining our Salesforce Org. As a Salesforce Developer, your duties will include designing and developing scalable end-to-end solutions, conducting thorough code reviews prior to deployment, and maintaining system health by resolving technical issues. You will collaborate closely with business teams to translate complex requirements into robust Salesforce enhancements using best practices. You will ensure that all developments undergo rigorous testing and deployment processes. Effective communication is crucial in this role, as you will frequently interact with stakeholders and issue reporters to thoroughly understand business pain points and convey clear technical solutions. You will be part of a collaborative, talented, and growing team in a supportive environment. Design, build, and maintain scalable applications using Apex (Triggers, Asynchronous Processing, REST Services) and Lightning Web Components (LWC). Translate business requirements into efficient, maintainable technical designs while adhering to Salesforce governor limits and best practices. Partner with functional teams, business analysts, and senior developers across agile sprints to deliver high-quality end-to-end features. Build and manage enterprise integrations connecting Salesforce with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools. Perform peer code reviews, enforce coding standards, and write comprehensive Unit Tests (Apex & LWC) to maintain strong code coverage and platform health. Investigate, debug, and resolve technical issues across custom applications and core salesforce configurations. Create clear technical design documentation, participate in CI/CD pipeline deployments (Git/Salesforce DX), and keep up-to-date with seasonal Salesforce releases. Participate in team-wide technical sharing sessions.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience. +2 years of hands-on software development experience on the Salesforce platform. Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and SOSL (Visualforce knowledge is a plus). Hands-on experience configuring core platform features, including Salesforce Flow, custom objects, validation rules, and security/sharing models. Practical experience building/consuming REST APIs and handling bulk data migrations using standard tools (Data Loader, Salesforce CLI). Familiarity with source control tools (Git, GitHub/GitLab) and deployment frameworks (Salesforce DX, Copado, Gearset, or Jenkins). Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting complex issues. Salesforce certification is a plus
