What does it cost to be an international student in Nottingham?
Moving to a new country to study is an exciting adventure and understanding your living costs is key to making the most of your time at the University of Nottingham.
This page details everything you need to know about managing your finances - covering typical living costs, accommodation options and practical budgeting tips to help you stay on track.

Living costs
Your living costs will vary depending on your accommodation and lifestyle. If you require a student visa, you must show funds of at least £1,136 per month for 9 months (£10,224) in addition to tuition fees.
The student visa fee is £524. You will also be required to pay an Immigration Health Charge of £776 per year of study*.
If you have any dependent family members applying with you, they will also need to pay the same amount. Medical insurance can also cover any unexpected costs due to illness.
