Seasonal Illustrator, Global Creative Marketing (REHIRES)

Summary/Objective: The NFL is seeking a Social Media Illustrator to create engaging and cutting-edge illustrations for the NFL’s official social platforms, as well as other NFL-affiliated channels, teams, and players. The right candidate has a passion for football, social media and storytelling and has a drive to create new and innovative original content. In this role, you will work with a creative team to execute on both short-term and long-term projects. Responsibilities: Create illustrations for the NFL’s official social platforms and other NFL-affiliated social platforms, teams, and players. Pitch and conceptualize original content ideas and franchises for NFL social media platforms Prepare sketches for approval and complete final illustrations within the deadlines Identify important storylines from around the NFL and know how to best tell them to our audience Manage the story telling behind each creative output to ensure it is clear and true to the content Required Qualifications: At least 2-5 years of relevant experience in Illustration and Digital Painting Required proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator Must have a portfolio containing Illustrations of varying complexity and style Strong life-drawing background with knowledge of anatomy, posing, capturing likeness, etc. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to take creative direction and incorporate feedback into revised work Preferred Qualifications: Design/Animation Experience is a major plus Familiarity with Adobe Premiere & After Effects is a major plus Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred Other Key Attributes / Characteristics: Knowledge of football and the NFL audience is a major plus Must be able to adapt style and approach in order to meet tight deadlines Must be able to handle concept changes and accept creative feedback Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills Expected Hours of Work: Must be willing to work early mornings, nights and/or weekends, especially during NFL season May be opportunities for overtime Physical Demands: N/A Travel: N/A
