This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Seasonal Tax Lead based in the United States. Take on a seasonal leadership role supporting tax professionals during the 2026–2027 tax season. As a Seasonal Tax Lead, you will guide remote teams, provide accurate tax guidance, and help ensure high-quality customer service throughout the tax preparation process. You will coach team members, monitor customer interactions, and resolve operational issues and escalations in a timely, professional manner. Working remotely, you will use your tax expertise and supervisory experience to help teams meet performance expectations and deliver a positive customer experience. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling, structured training, and ongoing support from a dedicated leadership team. It is ideal for an experienced tax professional seeking a work-from-home position for the upcoming tax season.

Lead and motivate remote team members through video calls, phone, and chat to achieve program goals and performance expectations. Monitor the Tax Support Slack channel, providing accurate tax guidance, relevant resources, and timely responses to team questions. Address operational challenges, leadership channel inquiries, and customer escalations, ensuring issues are resolved professionally and efficiently. Conduct call monitoring to assess customer interactions, identify improvement opportunities, and support employee coaching and development. Make customer callbacks as needed to resolve outstanding concerns and maintain a positive customer experience. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions to support coaching, quality assurance, escalation management, and operational reporting. Provide ongoing guidance and support to team members to promote consistent service quality and effective tax preparation practices. Requirements: Must be an actively credentialed, U.S.-based Enrolled Agent (EA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or practicing attorney. Must hold an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN). At least 2 years of professional experience preparing and filing individual income tax returns (Form 1040) using professional tax preparation software in a professional or retail setting. At least 1 year of experience in a remote supervisory role, managing teams of five or more employees. Strong tax knowledge and the ability to provide reliable guidance while addressing customer concerns and complex operational issues. Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate remote teams and manage escalations effectively. Technical proficiency with professional tax preparation software, Microsoft 365 applications—including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel—and Slack. A dedicated home workspace, a personal computer for administrative tasks, and a reliable wired Ethernet connection. Wi-Fi and satellite internet connections are not permitted. Availability to work during the seasonal employment period, with scheduling options across morning, midday, and evening shifts. Benefits: Hourly pay of $36 USD. Flexible scheduling with morning, midday, and evening shifts available seven days a week. Seasonal employment from fall 2026 through the end of April 2027. Expected workload of 25–40 hours per week, with additional hours and overtime potentially available. 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching contributions.
