Partner with Machine Learning teams to recommend model features based on observed fraud patterns and provide feedback on model scoring using investigation outcomes. Participate in design and code reviews, promote analytical best practices, and mentor junior analysts in SQL and data analysis. Requirements At least 3 years of hands-on experience in fraud analytics, ideally within e-commerce or retail. A bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, Physics, or a related field. Experience evaluating or tuning automated decision-making systems, including LLM-based or rules-based solutions, is a plus. Experience in a startup or high-growth environment is preferred. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence decisions. High attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a strong understanding of user behavior and fraud patterns. A proactive, hands-on approach and a collaborative, empathetic, and humble working style. Must be located within the continental United States and authorized to meet the role’s employment requirements. Immigration-related sponsorship is not available for this position.
