The Role This is a hands-on digital communications role based in Hong Kong, sitting within FGS Global's Asia practice. The Senior Associate will work directly with the regional Digital Director to execute and manage digital mandates across a diverse portfolio of clients spanning financial services, consumer, and technology sectors. The role requires someone who is digitally native, commercially aware, and comfortable operating across multiple platforms. Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is essential, as is practical experience with Chinese-language digital platforms including WeChat and Xiaohongshu. Key Responsibilities Account Management Support the Digital Director in managing day-to-day client relationships and communications Coordinate with internal teams across strategy, financial communications, and public affairs to deliver integrated mandates Contribute to new business pitches and proposals as required Digital Campaign Execution Lead day-to-day execution of social media, paid media, and content campaigns across client accounts Manage and optimise campaigns across LinkedIn, Meta, Google, WeChat, and other relevant platforms Support creative production workflows including scripting, briefing, and production coordination Execute social media monitoring and rapid response support for crisis communications mandates Collaborate closely with designers to ensure visuals align with digital strategy Reporting and Analytics Conduct social media audits, campaign reporting, and competitive analysis Prepare performance reviews with clear, actionable insights for clients and internal teams Monitor platform trends and algorithm changes relevant to client accounts Familiarity with social listening platforms Qualifications and Skills Experience 3 or more years of experience in digital marketing, communications, or a related field Agency or professional services experience preferred Demonstrated experience managing multi-platform digital campaigns from strategy through to execution Technical Skills Proficiency across LinkedIn, Meta, Google Ads, WeChat, and Xiaohongshu Experience with social media management and scheduling tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or equivalent) Competency in campaign reporting and analytics platforms Familiarity with video production workflows and basic design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Suite) an advantage Language Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) Practical experience creating and managing Chinese-language digital content Skills & Qualities Self-starter who can manage multiple mandates with minimal oversight Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines Collaborative team player comfortable in a fast-paced, client-facing environment Sound editorial judgment and a strong sense of brand voice across different clients and platforms
