Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Brand Designer based in Canada. The Senior Brand Designer will shape and elevate the visual identities of two distinct brands within the cryptocurrency and decentralized finance ecosystem. This hands-on role combines high-quality visual design with practical marketing and sales support in a fast-paced, remote environment. As the sole designer on the marketing team, you will own a broad range of creative initiatives, from sales enablement materials and website experiences to social content and campaign launches. You will help establish consistent brand guidelines, build reusable design systems, and equip cross-functional teams with effective visual resources. The role requires strong creative judgment, technical proficiency, and the ability to translate business objectives into compelling design solutions. Working closely with marketing and sales stakeholders, you will contribute to brand recognition and business growth while staying current with emerging trends in crypto, DeFi, and fintech.

Evolve and maintain the visual identities and brand guidelines of two distinct brands, ensuring consistency and quality across all customer and marketing touchpoints. Design and maintain a comprehensive library of sales enablement materials, including pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, proposal templates, and partner kits. Create and develop website pages, including landing pages, product pages, and comparison pages, supporting both infrastructure-focused and consumer-facing audiences. Produce engaging social media graphics and visual content that strengthen brand awareness and support marketing objectives. Develop creative assets for campaign launches, major sales initiatives, and industry events, managing projects from initial concept through final delivery. Build reusable brand assets, marketing templates, and design components that enable non-designers to create consistent, high-quality materials independently. Balance design priorities across both brands, allocating approximately 70% of efforts to one brand and 30% to the other, with a focus on sales enablement, web design, and social graphics. Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to understand business objectives and translate them into effective visual communication. Present and explain design decisions, incorporating feedback while maintaining strong creative standards and brand consistency. Apply AI-powered design tools to improve creative workflows, accelerate production, and enhance the quality of deliverables. Monitor developments in cryptocurrency, decentralized finance, fintech, and emerging technology to keep brand execution relevant and competitive. Contribute to the evolution of the design function by identifying opportunities to improve workflows, strengthen visual consistency, and support changing business needs. Requirements: At least 4 years of professional brand design experience, including a minimum of 1 year in cryptocurrency, decentralized finance, or emerging technology. A strong portfolio demonstrating completed brand design projects across websites, social media, and sales enablement materials. Proven ability to shape, develop, and extend visual identities rather than simply applying existing brand guidelines. Excellent typography, layout, composition, and visual storytelling skills. Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including the creation of reusable templates, components, and scalable design systems. Fluency with AI-powered design tools and practical experience using them to improve both creative quality and production speed. Experience working closely with marketing and sales teams to translate business goals into effective design deliverables. Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain and defend creative decisions constructively. A proactive, hands-on approach, with the ability to take ownership, work independently, and adapt quickly as priorities change. Commitment to high-quality execution, ethical decision-making, consistent delivery, and long-term business impact. Ability to work remotely while maintaining sufficient overlap with US Pacific time zone working hours. Willingness to attend annual in-person team offsites at international locations. Experience building web pages in Webflow and familiarity with basic HTML and CSS are considered assets. Experience leading a website redesign from concept to launch is an advantage. Illustration and basic motion design skills are beneficial. Experience designing for both B2B and B2C audiences is a plus. Benefits: Base salary range of USD $120,000–$180,000 , plus equity, ZRX tokens, and benefits. Final compensation depends on relevant skills, experience, location, business needs, and preferences regarding compensation structure. Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance for US-based employees, with the full cost of the base plan covered for employees and their dependents. Access to a 401(k) retirement plan and flexible spending account (FSA) for eligible US-based employees. Monthly support for mobile phone expenses, wellness, and eligible pre-tax transportation expenses. Mental health benefits, including professional therapy sessions. A supportive remote-first working environment. Lunch reimbursement for employees globally. A stipend to help create a comfortable and effective home workspace, including headphones and other necessary work equipment. Twelve weeks of paid parental leave. Flexible vacation policies that encourage employees to take time off when needed. Access to an office in San Francisco's Financial District for employees in the area. An inclusive and collaborative culture that values diverse perspectives, belonging, and equal employment opportunities. Reasonable accommodations for applicants and employees who require support during the recruitment or employment process. Please note that certain benefits, including insurance and retirement plans, are location-specific and subject to applicable eligibility requirements.
