Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Brand Designer based in the United States. As a Senior Brand Designer, you will lead hands-on creative execution, transforming brand strategies into cohesive visual experiences across digital, print, and physical channels. You will develop complete creative suites for campaigns, product launches, and customer experiences, ensuring consistency and quality at every touchpoint. Working closely with Marketing, Communications, Demand Generation, Product, and Sales teams, you will create compelling designs that strengthen brand recognition and support business growth. From website experiences and digital advertising to event materials, branded merchandise, and customer-facing tools, your work will span a diverse range of creative formats. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external creative partners to deliver high-quality assets that meet strategic objectives and deadlines. This is a senior individual contributor role offering the opportunity to shape a mission-driven brand while balancing creative exploration with practical execution. If you combine strong visual storytelling with excellent organizational skills and a passion for meaningful design, this role offers an opportunity to make a lasting impact.

Develop cohesive creative suites: Lead the design process from initial concept through final delivery, translating campaign and launch objectives into connected visual assets that maintain a consistent brand identity across channels. Translate briefs into creative concepts: Collaborate with Brand, Marketing, and Communications teams to understand project requirements, present early concepts, incorporate feedback, and deliver polished final designs. Adapt designs across channels: Create and optimize assets for digital advertising, social media, email campaigns, websites, print publications, billboards, and other formats while preserving visual quality and messaging consistency. Support digital marketing and demand generation: Design high-performing digital ads, email campaigns, landing pages, and other marketing materials that attract prospects, generate leads, and support customer acquisition. Manage website design and brand consistency: Maintain and evolve the website's visual identity by designing new pages, refreshing existing content, and ensuring an engaging, consistent user experience. Design customer-facing digital experiences: Develop visual assets, interface screens, and design updates for digital platforms and tools, collaborating with developers and product teams to ensure accurate implementation. Create product rollout and implementation materials: Design signage, posters, instructional graphics, branded merchandise, packaging, and event materials that support smooth implementations and create polished experiences for schools, venues, and events. Produce corporate and sales collateral: Develop presentations, sales materials, flyers, reports, policy documents, leadership presentations, and social media content for internal and external audiences. Maintain brand assets and templates: Build and organize reusable design templates, visual asset libraries, and brand resources that empower other teams to produce consistent, on-brand materials independently. Coordinate photo and video production: Plan and direct creative shoots, define visual requirements, and collaborate with photographers, videographers, and editors to deliver high-quality content. Manage external creative partners: Provide clear creative direction to freelancers, printers, photographers, and other vendors, coordinating schedules and reviewing deliverables to ensure quality and consistency. Oversee creative production and priorities: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, establish realistic timelines, communicate progress, and ensure that both strategic initiatives and quick-turn requests are delivered on schedule. Uphold brand standards: Ensure all creative materials follow established brand guidelines while identifying opportunities to strengthen the visual identity and improve the overall quality of brand communications. Collaborate on creative direction: Work closely with the VP of Brand and Communications, who oversees brand strategy and messaging, to translate strategic priorities into impactful design solutions and introduce fresh creative ideas. Requirements: Professional design experience: Five to seven years of hands-on experience in graphic design or brand design, either in-house or within a creative agency. Strong creative portfolio: A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end creative suite development, including integrated campaigns, websites, digital advertising, social media, and print materials. Advanced design software proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, alongside strong working knowledge of Figma and Canva. Digital design expertise: Experience designing websites, landing pages, email campaigns, digital ads, and application or platform interfaces, including preparing design handoffs and collaborating with developers. Print production knowledge: Ability to prepare production-ready files and work effectively with printers, vendors, and other external production partners. Strong visual judgment: Excellent understanding of layout, typography, color theory, composition, photography, and visual storytelling, with the ability to translate brand guidelines into engaging creative work. Project and time management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize competing requests, meet deadlines, and maintain high standards across deliverables. Communication and collaboration: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present creative concepts, explain design decisions, incorporate feedback, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders. Education or equivalent experience: A bachelor's degree in design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Photo and video production experience (preferred): Experience planning and directing photography or video shoots and collaborating with creative production teams. Motion graphics and video editing (preferred): Familiarity with tools such as After Effects and Premiere Pro and the ability to create or edit motion-based content. Marketing technology experience (preferred): Experience designing demand generation campaigns and working with website builders or content management systems. Physical and experiential branding (preferred): Experience creating branded merchandise, signage, packaging, event materials, or other physical brand assets. Mission-driven brand experience (preferred): Background working with a fast-growing, purpose-led consumer, education, or similar organization. AI-assisted design capabilities (preferred): Familiarity with AI-powered design tools and the ability to use them responsibly while maintaining brand consistency and creative quality. Benefits: Competitive salary: Annual compensation ranging from $110,000 to $125,000.
