Use your finance skills to shape budgets across a major public service department.Lead a team that helps senior leaders make sound financial decisions.Work on complex budgets, forecasts and Cabinet submissions.Build your leadership skills while helping Victoria run safer services.Ongoing, full-time role earning $116,413 - $140,849 per year, plus super.What you will doAs senior budget and finance analyst, you will lead a team of finance professionals. You will provide clear financial advice across the department and support strong budget planning.You will:lead skilled finance staff to prepare budget and Cabinet submissionsprovide clear advice on budgets, forecasts, procurement and financial riskscomplete complex financial analysis and help leaders make sound decisionsmanage key month-end tasks, including accruals, journals, prepayments and capital reportsfind practical ways to improve financial systems, skills and outcomes.About youA relevant qualification in policy, strategy or finance is desirable.
