This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Business Analyst based in United States. This role partners closely with DevTools engineers and technical stakeholders to turn complex technology initiatives into clear, actionable requirements. You will support projects spanning CI/CD recovery, repository governance, DevSecOps, and potential platform migrations. The position combines business analysis, technical documentation, project oversight, and cross-functional facilitation. You will help teams clarify processes, dependencies, risks, decisions, and delivery expectations while maintaining strong project visibility. The role also encourages practical use of AI tools to improve productivity, work quality, and collaboration. You will operate in a consultative, client-focused environment where curiosity, adaptability, and continuous learning are highly valued. This is a remote or hybrid opportunity requiring availability during Central Time Zone business hours.

Partner with DevTools engineers and technical stakeholders to capture, clarify, document, and maintain requirements across CI/CD recovery, repository governance, and curation initiatives. Translate technical conversations into clear business and technical requirements, workflows, process documentation, decisions, and actionable deliverables. Document recovery procedures, governance standards, operational processes, technical dependencies, and future-state workflows to support consistency and long-term maintainability. Track project scope, milestones, risks, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables while proactively identifying gaps, blockers, and potential impacts to delivery. Apply practical knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Artifactory when documenting current-state and future-state processes. Support repository governance and DevSecOps initiatives by documenting standards, controls, ownership structures, and open-source governance processes. Contribute to discovery and readiness activities for potential GitHub and GitHub Actions migration initiatives, including requirements gathering, dependency analysis, process impacts, and documentation. Facilitate alignment between engineers and stakeholders by recording decisions, action items, open questions, requirements changes, and scope adjustments. Maintain organized, accurate, and accessible project documentation so technical teams have clear visibility into requirements, processes, decisions, and delivery status. Use AI tools, including Claude and other emerging technologies, to improve efficiency, quality, and problem-solving, while sharing effective practices with colleagues and identifying new opportunities for AI adoption. Support project oversight and execution of deliverables while maintaining a strong focus on client expectations, quality, and business outcomes. Collaborate across teams and provide clear communication, presentations, coaching, and guidance to support successful delivery. Requirements Demonstrated experience in business analysis, technical project delivery, consulting, or a related discipline, with the ability to translate complex technical discussions into clear requirements and deliverables. Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience working with technology or engineering teams. Familiarity with CI/CD concepts, DevTools, repository management, DevSecOps, or related software engineering practices. Working knowledge of tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory, GitHub, or comparable development and repository platforms. Experience documenting business processes, technical workflows, dependencies, governance standards, decisions, and operational procedures. Strong project oversight skills, including the ability to manage scope, milestones, risks, dependencies, and delivery commitments. Consultative problem-solving approach with the ability to connect technology initiatives to broader business and client objectives. Hands-on experience with AI tools to enhance daily work is highly valued, along with a willingness to experiment, learn, and encourage responsible AI adoption. Claude Certified Developer or Architect certification is highly preferred, with potential opportunities to obtain certification after joining. Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with engineers, technical stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams. Strong adaptability and comfort operating in a high-growth, evolving environment. Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, continuous-learning mindset, and ability to develop creative solutions. Ability to lead, mentor, motivate, and positively influence colleagues through collaboration, coaching, and knowledge sharing. Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; C2C arrangements are not available.
