Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Consultant based in United States. This is a client-facing opportunity within a Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) consulting practice, focused on helping healthcare organizations demonstrate the value of their products and services. You will combine scientific expertise, analytical skills, and consulting capabilities to design and deliver evidence-generation and value demonstration projects. The role offers significant exposure to clients, with opportunities to contribute to strategic recommendations, present scientific findings, and guide junior team members. You will work across project delivery, business development, and thought leadership while staying current with evolving HEOR methodologies and technical developments. The position is well suited to an experienced consultant who enjoys solving complex healthcare questions and translating technical analysis into clear, actionable insights. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects while developing your leadership and client-facing capabilities.

Apply detailed and practical knowledge of core HEOR research methods to design and deliver high-quality, client-ready project solutions. Independently execute technical work across HEOR projects while providing technical guidance and leadership to junior team members. Contribute to the strategic development of single-team projects by combining analytical expertise with an understanding of broader client objectives. Engage directly with clients as a day-to-day project contact and scientific presenter, communicating technical concepts clearly and effectively to different audiences. Coordinate with project team members to ensure tasks are completed on time and deliverables meet appropriate quality standards. Contribute to project planning and execution while balancing technical rigor, client expectations, timelines, and business objectives. Participate in business development activities, including project scoping, proposal development, and budget preparation, with appropriate oversight. Support thought leadership initiatives and contribute insights on emerging methodologies, technologies, and developments relevant to HEOR. Coach and mentor junior colleagues, helping to strengthen technical capabilities and project delivery skills across the team. Continue developing professional excellence in client-facing interactions, consulting practices, and scientific communication. Stay informed about innovative methodological and technical developments and identify opportunities to apply them across HEOR projects and functions. Allocate approximately 70% of time to project delivery, 20% to business development and proposals, and 10% to ongoing professional development, subject to changing business and client priorities. Requirements: You have an advanced degree and typically 5 or more years of relevant professional experience in healthcare consulting, HEOR, health economics, statistics, or a related field. You have strong consulting experience and demonstrated expertise in at least one core area, such as health economics, HEOR-related statistics, HEOR/HTA strategy, evidence review or synthesis, expert elicitation and stakeholder engagement, or value communication. You have practical knowledge of established HEOR research methodologies and an understanding of emerging methodological and technical developments within the field. You are comfortable independently delivering technically complex work while providing guidance and technical leadership to junior colleagues. You have strong client-facing capabilities and can communicate complex scientific and analytical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. You are a clear, collaborative communicator who can build productive relationships with clients and project team members. You have strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills and can translate complex evidence into practical insights and recommendations. You are highly organized, results-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities while consistently meeting project deadlines. You demonstrate initiative, innovation, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. You are comfortable contributing to proposals, project scoping, budgets, business development, and broader consulting activities. You are willing and able to coach and mentor junior professionals while continuing to develop your own leadership and consulting capabilities. Benefits: Competitive salary of approximately $115,000–$140,000 annually, with the range varying based on location, skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors. Additional incentive compensation, such as a bonus or commission, may be available where applicable. Medical, dental, and vision insurance options. 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching. Generous paid time off allowance plus 10 paid holidays annually. Flexible spending accounts for healthcare and dependent care. Health Savings Account option with employer matching. Employee Assistance Program. Company-paid short-term and long-term disability coverage. Company-paid life insurance and additional benefits supporting health, financial well-being, professional development, and work-life balance.
