Infrastructure Automation: Develop, implement, and maintain automation solutions using Python, PowerShell, Bash, APIs, Infrastructure as Code, and configuration management tools to improve operational efficiency and consistency. CI/CD Pipeline Development: Build, maintain, and enhance continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines for infrastructure deployment, configuration management, automated testing, and validation. Automated Change Validation: Develop pre-change and post-change validation processes, automated health checks, monitoring capabilities, and reporting tools to reduce deployment risks and improve service reliability. Platform Integration: Integrate network security platforms with monitoring systems, deployment tools, and operational technologies to improve visibility, simplify workflows, and strengthen automation capabilities. Operational Efficiency: Identify repetitive manual activities and implement scalable automation solutions that reduce operational overhead and improve the consistency of infrastructure management. Infrastructure Modernization: Support platform lifecycle activities, including software upgrades, vulnerability remediation, technology refreshes, configuration improvements, and modernization initiatives. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with networking, cloud, cybersecurity, and application teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient solutions that meet enterprise requirements. Engineering Standards and Documentation: Participate in technical reviews, promote engineering best practices, and maintain accurate documentation, operational procedures, scripts, and automation frameworks. Technical Knowledge Sharing: Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues, share expertise, and contribute to continuous improvements in engineering processes and team capabilities. Requirements Network Engineering Expertise: Strong professional background in network engineering and network security, with a solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, subnetting, Network Address Translation (NAT), DNS, and application connectivity. Firewall and Security Platforms: Experience engineering, implementing, configuring, or supporting enterprise firewall and network security technologies. Infrastructure as Code: Practical knowledge of IaC principles, infrastructure automation, configuration management, and version-controlled infrastructure workflows. Scripting and Programming: Hands-on experience developing scripts and automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar programming and scripting languages. API Integration: Experience working with REST APIs or other programmatic interfaces to automate infrastructure management, collect data, monitor systems, and support operational troubleshooting. CI/CD and Version Control: Experience developing, maintaining, or using CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment and configuration, along with source control tools and Git-based development practices. Automation Use Cases: Demonstrated ability to automate infrastructure changes, configuration management, pre-change and post-change validation, health checks, monitoring, data collection, reporting, and troubleshooting workflows. Technical Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to investigate complex network and security issues and implement reliable solutions. Independent Execution: Ability to interpret technical requirements, take ownership of assigned projects, and deliver high-quality engineering solutions through implementation and validation with limited supervision.
