About The Role
The Role: We’re looking for a Data Architect to drive the design, evolution, and governance of data architecture across the organization. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with multiple functional groups and technology leaders to translate business needs into scalable, well-structured data solutions. You’ll provide best-practice guidance on data management, modeling, and architecture design, ensuring data platforms are robust, efficient, and aligned with strategic objectives. The Main Responsibilities Of The Position Include:

Partner with IT leadership to establish, plan, and execute departmental targets and KPIs in alignment with corporate goals.

Oversee the end-to-end data architecture lifecycle, including platform selection, technical design, and the delivery of critical modernization programs.

Manage conceptual, logical, and physical data models while defining non-functional requirements (scalability, performance) for mission-critical systems.

Establish enterprise-wide data architecture guidelines, lead technical review sessions, and maintain version-controlled architectural artefacts.

Collaborate with IT Governance on metadata management, data quality metrics, and audit compliance to ensure adherence to security and enterprise regulations.

Drive continuous innovation by evaluating emerging technologies and integrating advanced analytics capabilities to enhance data-driven solutions.

Lead, coach, and motivate the data architecture team by setting performance targets, providing regular feedback, and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.

Partner closely with project teams as an embedded contributor, guiding schema design, physical design choices (e.g., indexing and partitioning), data access patterns, and query optimization best practices.

Advise project teams on the end-to-end data product lifecycle, from platform selection through testing and implementation.

Develop onboarding and training programs for Data Architecture, and extend architectural expertise and services across all Group companies.
Main Requirements:

BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
-
At least 5 years’ experience in data-architecture or related roles, including leadership of enterprise initiatives
-
Deep expertise in data-platform patterns (lakehouses, data mesh) and advanced modelling techniques
-
Proven track record in designing scalable, high-availability data architectures and respective SLAs
-
Demonstrable Experience across the following domains:

Metadata and Master Data Management, Data Quality, Data Warehousing, Reporting & Data/Analytics.

Enterprise data modelling

Data Governance

Data Standards

Demonstrable experience using Cloud data technologies to develop enterprise data platforms

Proven success in architecting enterprise data strategies, building ROI-driven business cases, and aligning architecture across multiple business units.

Strong expertise in designing automated data pipelines and navigating data security, privacy frameworks, and regulations.

Demonstrated leadership ability to motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing technical team.

Highly effective in agile delivery models, with excellent facilitation skills for Architecture Review Boards and stakeholder committees.
