Our partner is looking for a Senior Data Engineer - Exclusiva para Pessoas com Deficiência based in Brazil. The Senior Data Engineer will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing scalable data architectures that support digital transformation and data-driven business solutions. This position focuses on developing large-scale data pipelines, optimizing analytical queries, and enabling reliable data processing across modern cloud environments. You will work with distributed processing technologies, streaming services, and orchestration frameworks to build efficient, resilient, and high-performance data platforms. The role requires strong architectural thinking, with the ability to design comprehensive data solutions rather than simply execute technical tasks. Collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders, you will help translate complex requirements into scalable data engineering capabilities. This fully remote opportunity is exclusively intended for professionals with disabilities and offers the chance to contribute to innovative digital products in a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative environment.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support large-scale data processing and analytics requirements. Architect and implement robust data solutions using modern data engineering principles, distributed processing technologies, and cloud platforms. Design and optimize advanced SQL queries to improve performance and efficiency in analytical environments. Manage and optimize relational and non-relational databases, applying performance tuning and scalability strategies. Build and maintain data processing workflows using Apache Spark with Scala or PySpark, alongside Python or Java programming. Implement and optimize data architectures based on Data Lake and Lakehouse concepts to support evolving business and technical needs. Work with distributed data processing frameworks such as Databricks and Apache Flink, as well as orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or Google Cloud Composer. Support the implementation and maintenance of streaming data solutions to enable efficient data processing and integration. Leverage cloud services and infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS) to build reliable and scalable data platforms. Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements, define architectural approaches, and deliver effective data solutions. Contribute to digital transformation initiatives by developing data engineering capabilities that support innovative products and business outcomes. Requirements: Extensive experience in data engineering, including distributed processing, large-scale data pipeline design, and implementation of scalable data solutions. Advanced proficiency in SQL, including complex query development and optimization in analytical environments. Experience working with relational and non-relational databases, including performance tuning, optimization, and scalability strategies. Strong hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS). Practical experience with modern data engineering technologies, including distributed processing frameworks such as Databricks or Apache Flink, orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or Google Cloud Composer, and streaming services. Hands-on experience with Apache Spark using Scala or PySpark. Good programming skills in Python or Java. Experience designing and implementing scalable Data Lake and Lakehouse architectures. Strong architectural capabilities, including the ability to design end-to-end data solutions and make sound technical decisions beyond day-to-day implementation. Fluent English, with strong communication skills for technical and business discussions. The original listing references B2 (upper-intermediate) proficiency. Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders in a digital transformation environment. Eligibility: This opportunity is exclusively for people with disabilities (PWD), as specified in the original job listing. Benefits: Remote work: The role can be performed remotely from Brazil. Inclusive hiring opportunity: A position specifically dedicated to professionals with disabilities. Collaborative environment: Work with diverse teams and contribute to technology-driven business transformation. Technical innovation: Opportunity to work with modern cloud platforms, distributed processing frameworks, streaming technologies, and scalable data architectures. Global collaboration: Contribute to digital solutions designed to connect businesses and consumers through technology and innovation.
