- Own the ClickHouse warehouse schema, ingestion, backfills, and performance, and decide how data is structured.
- Build and operate production pipelines in Python from systems such as Postgres, Stripe, Slack, and advertising platforms, with testing, monitoring, recovery, and data verification.
- Manage conversion tracking and attribution data, including server-side events and the feeds sent to advertising platforms.
- Build and maintain dashboards for growth, finance, support, and product, and retire dashboards that are no longer useful.
- Analyze retention cohorts, unit economics, channel attribution, churn, and pricing impact, and proactively surface meaningful changes.
- Set up alerts for metric movements and work directly with company leaders to scope and prioritize data work. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 2 years of relevant experience building and maintaining production data pipelines in Python.
- Hands-on experience with a columnar warehouse such as ClickHouse, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- Experience building BI dashboards with Hex, Metabase, or Looker and defining business metrics such as retention cohorts and unit economics.
- Familiarity with Stripe and SaaS metrics such as MRR, ARR, NDR, and LTV, plus conversion tracking through tools such as Meta Conversions API or Google Ads conversion imports.
- Daily use of coding agents in your engineering workflow, with ownership of correctness and production behavior.
- A proactive, product-minded approach and experience taking ownership in a small, fast-moving team. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Visa sponsorship is not available.
