This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Director, Revenue Cycle Management based in the United States. The Senior Director, Revenue Cycle Management will lead and transform end-to-end revenue operations for a growing, multi-state healthcare organization focused on delivering high-quality pediatric mental health services. This strategic leadership role oversees billing, collections, accounts receivable, denial management, payer enrollment, and credentialing to strengthen financial performance and support sustainable expansion. Working closely with executive leadership and teams across Finance, Operations, and Clinical functions, you will improve cash flow, reduce revenue leakage, and build scalable processes that support operational excellence. You will also drive technology optimization, strengthen payer relationships, and establish clear performance metrics across internal teams and external partners. This is an opportunity for an experienced healthcare revenue cycle leader to shape financial infrastructure, lead meaningful operational change, and help expand access to essential care for children and families.

Define and lead the revenue cycle management strategy, operating model, performance indicators, and improvement initiatives to maximize collections and improve clean claim rates. Oversee end-to-end revenue cycle operations, including billing, collections, accounts receivable management, denial prevention and resolution, and insurance authorization processes. Drive operational transformation to reduce claim denials, shorten accounts receivable aging, improve days in accounts receivable (DAR), and strengthen overall revenue integrity. Lead multi-state provider enrollment, credentialing, and the implementation and management of delegated credentialing processes. Build and maintain strong relationships with payers, manage escalated reimbursement issues, and collaborate on payer contracting and reimbursement strategies. Partner with Finance and executive leadership on revenue forecasting, financial performance analysis, and strategies to improve reimbursement outcomes. Optimize electronic health record (EHR) and practice management (PM) systems, automation opportunities, and related technology to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability. Manage external revenue cycle vendors and technology partners, establishing service-level agreements (SLAs), performance expectations, and accountability measures. Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing revenue cycle organization with clear responsibilities, effective workflows, and consistent performance management. Use data and root-cause analysis to identify billing inefficiencies, payer workflow bottlenecks, and opportunities to prevent recurring revenue losses. Ensure revenue cycle operations comply with applicable healthcare regulations, HIPAA requirements, payer policies, and multi-site operational standards. Collaborate across departments to support organizational growth, operational change, and the delivery of accessible, financially sustainable healthcare services. Requirements: At least 8 years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, including significant leadership and operational responsibility. Direct experience managing delegated credentialing and multi-state payer enrollment, with the ability to establish processes that support timely provider participation and reimbursement. Demonstrated success improving cash collections, reducing denial rates, shortening accounts receivable aging, and strengthening revenue cycle performance. Extensive functional expertise with major EHR and practice management platforms, such as AthenaHealth, Epic, or eClinicalWorks. Experience supporting multi-site, multi-state healthcare organizations experiencing rapid growth, operational transformation, or organizational change. Strong understanding of healthcare billing, claims management, payer workflows, reimbursement processes, and revenue integrity. Proven ability to manage, assess, and optimize external revenue cycle vendors, technology providers, and service-level agreements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify root causes, interpret operational metrics, and translate findings into measurable improvements. Executive-level communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, align cross-functional teams, and manage competing priorities. Demonstrated ability to develop scalable operating models, implement effective controls, and lead teams through complex change initiatives. Solid understanding of healthcare compliance requirements, including HIPAA and relevant regulatory standards. Experience in behavioral health, mental health, or pediatric healthcare is preferred. Background in management consulting, interim leadership, or organizational turnaround initiatives is an advantage. Benefits: Annual salary: $140,000–$160,000 USD. Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage. 401(k) retirement plan with company matching. Employer-paid life insurance. Generous paid time off. Opportunities for professional development and career growth. Opportunity to work with an experienced leadership team in a collaborative, supportive, and innovative healthcare environment. Remote work arrangement within the United States.
