Working at the forefront of innovation, you will lead first-of-kind installations, beta evaluations, and qualification activities while partnering closely with customers and cross-functional teams around the world. Your expertise will help ensure new products are successfully deployed, optimized, and prepared for high-volume manufacturing, accelerating the technologies that power the future.   What You Will Be Working On Lead first-of-kind tool installations, beta evaluations, customer demonstrations, and New Product Introduction (NPI) deployments at customer sites. Drive factory readiness reviews, installation planning, startup activities, and qualification execution. Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware issues during system startup, commissioning, and qualification. Partner closely with NPI Field Process Engineers to achieve process and hardware readiness objectives. Collaborate with Product Engineering, Global Product Support, Manufacturing, and R&D teams to investigate and resolve technical challenges. Support chamber upgrades, new hardware evaluations, and technology demonstrations. Analyze tool performance data and provide recommendations to improve product reliability, performance, and customer experience. Participate in customer technical reviews, project meetings, and escalation discussions. Develop and enhance installation procedures, troubleshooting guides, startup documentation, and field best practices. Capture field learnings and provide feedback to engineering teams to support continuous product improvement. Train regional service organizations on new products and technologies ahead of customer production ramps. Support the successful transition of products from NPI into sustaining support and high-volume manufacturing organizations.   What We Are Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor equipment field service, equipment engineering, process engineering, customer support engineering, or a related technical role. Hands-on experience supporting semiconductor equipment installation, startup, qualification, or technology transfer activities. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex semiconductor manufacturing equipment in customer-facing environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across customers and global cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently in dynamic environments and manage multiple priorities. Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required.   What Sets You Apart Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Mechatronics, or a related discipline. Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), technology development programs, beta evaluations, or first-of-kind tool deployments. Strong knowledge of vacuum systems, gas delivery systems, RF power systems, plasma processes, automation and robotics, or semiconductor deposition technologies. Experience with ALD, PEALD, PECVD, Furnace, or related semiconductor deposition equipment. Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and thrive in fast-paced environments where processes, solutions, or ownership pathways are still evolving. Experience leading customer-facing technical engagements and driving issue resolution across multiple functions. Strong presentation, communication, and technical influencing skills.
