Full job description

About Us At Blank Street, we’re on a mission to become the defining food and beverage brand of our generation. From the very beginning, we’ve set out to add a spark to ordinary experiences through elevated products, attention-to-detail, and a commitment to making every moment memorable. We’re motivated by the millions of customers we serve across cities, and know that our potential is unlimited. It all starts with our people and their commitment to make magic happen each and every day. Start something Extraordinary...  We're looking for a Senior FF&E & Styling Designer who loves the details that make a space feel finished: the chair you want to sit in, the light that makes a corner feel warm, the object on the counter that makes someone smile. You'll set the FF&E and styling direction for our stores and see it through from concept and specification to the final styling on opening day. You'll also own how that standard is kept up across our existing estate. You'll split your time between the studio and our sites, working closely with the Design, Construction, Operations and Real Estate teams, as well as suppliers, to make every store feel unmistakably Blank Street. Develop and evolve the Blank Street FF&E and styling language, making sure it stays consistent across markets while leaving room for each location's character. Create and present strong concepts, mood boards and sample boards that balance creativity, durability, function and budget. Build and maintain the brand's FF&E standards library, including approved furniture, lighting, finishes, accessories and styling guidelines. Prepare and manage FF&E schedules, specifications and procurement trackers, covering lead times, costs and deliveries. Carry out quality and finish checks during and after installation, and resolve last-minute issues calmly and creatively. Make sure every space meets design intent, safety standards and operational requirements before handover. Work closely with the Interior Design team, project managers, contractors and Operations to keep projects on track, on budget and on brand. Give regular, clear updates to management and project teams. A strong visual eye and deep knowledge of furniture, lighting, finishes, materials and accessories. A solid network of suppliers and makers, and a good grasp of commercial FF&E standards, lead times and compliance (e.g. fire ratings and durability). Commercially minded and confident managing budgets and negotiating with suppliers. Highly organised, able to juggle multiple projects, schedules and logistics at pace. An excellent communicator, confident with suppliers, contractors and colleagues at every level. A calm, practical, solutions-focused problem solver who is self-directed and open to feedback.
