This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst I based in the United States. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to support financial reporting, analysis, and strategic decision-making within a complex organization. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you’ll work across multiple finance disciplines and contribute to accurate, timely financial operations. You’ll play an important role in monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, investment and debt accounting, and financial reporting. The position combines technical accounting, analytical problem-solving, compliance reporting, and stakeholder communication. You’ll collaborate with leadership and finance teams while helping identify opportunities, resolve issues, and improve processes. The role also provides exposure to audits, community benefit reporting, organizational initiatives, and special projects. It’s a strong opportunity for an experienced finance professional seeking meaningful scope, autonomy, and a collaborative remote environment.
Prepare and review investment and debt journal entries, account reconciliations, and related financial documentation. Prepare and review compliance disclosures while ensuring internal and external reporting deadlines are met. Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to help ensure financial information is complete and accurate. Assess applicable technical accounting standards and apply them appropriately to financial reporting and disclosures. Support preparation for investment audits and provide relevant documentation and analysis. Prepare, analyze, and communicate investment and debt reporting information to finance teams, leadership, and other stakeholders. Compile and prepare quarterly and annual community benefit reports. Contribute to and lead organizational initiatives, financial projects, and other special assignments. Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support finance operations and organizational priorities. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 3–5 years of relevant financial analysis or accounting experience. Demonstrated knowledge of financial applications, systems, processes, and underlying process flows. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to identify financial issues or opportunities and develop potential solutions. Ability to work effectively with leadership teams and communicate financial information clearly to varied stakeholders. Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles, with the ability to assess and apply technical accounting standards. Ability to work independently while effectively prioritizing multiple responsibilities and meeting deadlines. Strong organizational skills, efficiency, attention to detail, and sound judgment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant finance-specific applications. A master’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred. CPA licensure is preferred.
