ABOUT THE ROLE Join an early-stage engineering team building AI-powered tools for the freight and logistics industry. In this customer-facing role, you will work closely with operations teams to understand complex workflows and turn their needs into reliable production software. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Partner with logistics teams to understand their workflows and translate requirements into system designs.
- Build AI-powered full-stack tools using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Integrate with enterprise systems, APIs, event queues, and file transfer systems.
- Build reliable data pipelines that handle messy information from multiple sources.
- Help shape product direction and technical decisions with the engineering team.
- Own work from design through deployment, iterate based on feedback, and travel regularly to customer sites in Europe and Asia. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 3 years of experience building full-stack applications or backend systems in production.
- Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills, with React or another modern frontend framework as a plus.
- Experience designing APIs, integrating external and enterprise systems, and building data pipelines.
- Experience building and maintaining backend infrastructure, and working with tools such as Docker, Terraform, GCP, or AWS.
- Clear communication skills and experience working directly with customers or end users.
- Interest or experience in logistics, supply chain, AI/LLM architectures, or early-stage environments is beneficial.
- Willingness to work hybrid from Berlin and travel regularly to customer sites. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Visa sponsorship is not available. LOCATION Hybrid role based in Berlin, Germany, with regular travel to customer sites across Europe and Asia.
