This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer (F# / ASP.NET Core / ReactJS) based in Germany. Join a product-focused engineering team building modern SaaS solutions that simplify complex business and governance processes. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will develop and scale applications using F#, ASP.NET Core, React.js, and TypeScript, with opportunities to influence both architecture and product direction. You will take ownership of features from initial planning through deployment, collaborating closely with product and engineering colleagues to deliver meaningful improvements. The role emphasizes functional programming, maintainable architecture, and integrations with the Microsoft ecosystem, including Azure and Office 365. You will work in a fast-moving, international environment that values autonomy, pragmatic problem-solving, and open communication. With a remote-first culture and a modern technology stack, you will have the flexibility to shape solutions and make a tangible impact on the product.
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will take responsibility for building reliable, scalable product features while contributing to technical decisions and continuous improvement across the development lifecycle. Your main responsibilities will include: Full Stack Development: Design, implement, optimize, and maintain product features using F#, ASP.NET Core, React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Feature Ownership: Take end-to-end ownership of features, working closely with product stakeholders and cross-functional colleagues to turn requirements into effective solutions. Software Architecture: Apply functional programming principles and contribute to architectural discussions that support maintainability, scalability, and long-term product quality. Product Lifecycle Management: Improve all stages of development, from planning and implementation to testing, deployment, and production maintenance. Technology Evolution: Help keep the technology stack modern, robust, and scalable by identifying opportunities for improvement and adopting appropriate engineering practices. Third-Party Integrations: Build and maintain integrations with external systems, particularly Microsoft technologies such as Azure and Office 365. Engineering Collaboration: Work closely with the development and product teams, communicate technical decisions clearly, and contribute to a culture of ownership and continuous improvement. Requirements: The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer who combines strong full stack or backend development skills with a proactive, independent approach to problem-solving. You should enjoy taking ownership of technical challenges and building scalable applications in a collaborative product environment. The following qualifications are expected: Professional Experience: At least 4 years of experience in full stack or backend software engineering. Programming Languages and Frameworks: Hands-on experience with F# or C# combined with a strong motivation to learn F#, as well as ASP.NET Core, React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript. SaaS and Business Applications: Experience scaling SaaS products and developing B2B or line-of-business applications is highly desirable. Software Architecture: Familiarity with Vertical Slices, Command Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS), Event Sourcing, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) is a strong advantage. Microsoft Ecosystem: Experience with Azure and/or Office 365 APIs, including Microsoft Graph API, is beneficial. Engineering Mindset: A solution-oriented, proactive approach, with the ability to work independently, take responsibility, and deliver reliably. Communication Skills: Fluent written and spoken English, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed team. Location and Time Zone: Based in Europe or a European time zone to support effective collaboration with the team. Benefits: Remote-First Flexibility: Work from anywhere, whether from home, the Hamburg office, or while traveling. Flexible Working Hours: Organize your schedule within a culture built on trust, autonomy, and results. Collaborative Culture: Work with an experienced founding team that values pragmatic decision-making, open communication, low-ego collaboration, and flat hierarchies. Workations and Team Events: Participate in team gatherings and workations in destinations such as Lisbon, Copenhagen, and Mallorca. Learning and Development: Access a personal learning budget and take ownership of your professional growth. Modern Technology Stack: Work with F#, ASP.NET Core, React.js, functional programming, event-driven architectures, AI, and Azure. Meaningful Product Impact: Collaborate directly with product and engineering teams to influence priorities, architecture, and features that matter. Employment Type: Permanent employment. Start Date: As soon as possible. Application Process: Submit your application through a short online form, including screening questions designed to streamline the recruitment process.
