Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Google Ads Specialist based in Brazil. We are looking for an experienced Google Ads specialist to lead paid search strategy and campaign performance across a growing portfolio of clients. This role is ideal for a hands-on expert who can independently manage advertising accounts, optimise budgets, and deliver measurable improvements in return on ad spend and conversion rates. You will work across multiple Google Ads formats while leveraging advanced analytics, automation, and testing to maximise campaign effectiveness. A key focus will be helping hospitality businesses, including hotels and resorts, increase direct bookings and improve marketing returns. You will collaborate with SEO, web development, and marketing automation teams to strengthen integrated digital strategies. This remote opportunity offers the chance to take ownership, introduce innovative ideas, and help elevate paid advertising performance across a dynamic digital agency.

As a Senior Google Ads Specialist, you will take end-to-end ownership of paid advertising campaigns, using data-driven insights and continuous experimentation to improve client outcomes. You will manage multiple accounts independently while contributing strategic recommendations and progressively taking on greater client-facing responsibilities. Develop, launch, manage, and optimise Google Ads campaigns across Search, Performance Max, Display, YouTube and Video, Demand Gen, and Shopping. Build and implement strategies for hotels, resorts, and accommodation providers, focusing on increasing direct bookings and maximising return on ad spend. Conduct account audits, keyword research, competitor analysis, and search-term reviews to identify growth opportunities and reduce wasted advertising spend. Optimise bidding strategies, budgets, keywords, negative keywords, audience targeting, ad copy, creative assets, and landing pages. Configure, test, and maintain conversion tracking and attribution using Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), enhanced conversions, and offline conversion imports. Run A/B tests across ad copy, creative assets, bidding strategies, and landing pages to improve conversion rates. Monitor campaign performance against key metrics, including return on ad spend (ROAS), cost per acquisition (CPA), conversion volume, and budget utilisation. Prepare performance reports and dashboards using Looker Studio and other reporting tools, translating data into actionable recommendations. Use Google Ads Editor, scripts, and third-party PPC tools to automate workflows and improve campaign efficiency. Stay current with Google Ads updates, emerging features, and industry best practices, proactively recommending new strategies and improvements. Collaborate with SEO, web development, and marketing automation teams to align paid advertising with SEO, generative engine optimisation (GEO), and conversion rate optimisation initiatives. Support SEO and GEO activities where needed, including keyword research, on-page recommendations, content briefs, and technical checks. Gradually assume client-facing responsibilities, including presenting results, discussing campaign strategies, and managing expectations. Manage multiple client accounts and advertising budgets independently, ensuring accurate execution, effective budget pacing, timely reporting, and consistent delivery. Document optimisation decisions and testing results while identifying opportunities to improve campaign performance and overall advertising processes. Requirements: The ideal candidate brings advanced Google Ads expertise, a strong analytical mindset, and a proven ability to improve advertising performance across multiple campaigns. You should be comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities, and communicating insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. At least 4–5 years of hands-on Google Ads experience, including end-to-end campaign management at a senior level. Strong expertise across Search, Performance Max, Display, YouTube and Video, Demand Gen, and Shopping campaigns. Advanced knowledge of bidding strategies, keyword research, negative keyword management, audience targeting, ad copy testing, and campaign optimisation. Demonstrated ability to improve ROAS, reduce CPA, and increase conversion volume, supported by measurable results or case studies. Proficiency in GA4, Google Tag Manager, enhanced conversions, offline conversion imports, and conversion attribution. Experience using Google Ads Editor, Google Ads scripts, Looker Studio, and third-party PPC tools for automation, reporting, and optimisation. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a data-driven approach to campaign management. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including the ability to explain campaign performance, insights, and recommendations clearly. A proactive, self-motivated, organised, and detail-oriented working style, with the ability to operate independently and manage multiple accounts with minimal supervision. A continuous improvement mindset, with the confidence to identify opportunities, introduce new ideas, and raise performance standards. Previous digital agency experience managing multiple clients and advertising budgets simultaneously is strongly preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in hospitality, travel, hotels, resorts, or accommodation marketing, particularly in increasing direct bookings. Hands-on experience with Performance Max for travel campaigns and Google Hotel Ads. A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related discipline. Google Ads certifications in Search, Display, Video, Shopping, and Measurement. Knowledge of SEO, GEO, and AI-driven search optimisation. Familiarity with GoHighLevel or similar CRM and marketing automation platforms. Benefits: Competitive salary: 80,000–100,000, as stated in the original listing; the currency was not specified. Fully remote work arrangement. Work-from-home schedule of 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Company-provided desktop or laptop equipment, including backup internet support. Health Maintenance Organisation (HMO) coverage from the first day of employment. Fifteen vacation days and five sick leave days. Free pre-employment medical assessment, subject to terms and conditions. Annual performance reviews. Employee referral incentives with no stated limit. Employee loan facilities. Company events, performance recognition, and opportunities to win prizes. Social clubs and interest-based workshops. Supportive leadership and a collaborative work environment focused on professional growth and work-life balance. Statutory benefits, including maternity, paternity, and solo-parent leave, applicable protections under the Magna Carta of Women, retirement benefits, overtime, and premium pay.
