This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Health Researcher based in United States. This fully remote role provides senior-level health services research and implementation science expertise within the Military Health System. You will evaluate healthcare programs, synthesize scientific evidence, and translate research into practical recommendations for improving care. The position combines research, program evaluation, strategic analysis, and healthcare improvement across complex government initiatives. You will collaborate with government stakeholders, clinicians, researchers, and multidisciplinary teams to advance evidence-based practices. The role offers an opportunity to influence healthcare delivery, readiness, performance, and patient outcomes through data-driven insights. You will develop high-impact reports, executive briefings, technical products, and other resources for senior decision-makers. This is a strategic subject matter expert role suited to an experienced researcher who can connect rigorous analysis with meaningful healthcare transformation.
Serve as a senior subject matter expert and advisor in health services research, program evaluation, implementation science, and healthcare improvement. Lead complex evaluations, assessments, and analytical initiatives designed to identify opportunities to improve healthcare delivery, quality, performance, and outcomes. Conduct strategic analyses and translate research findings into actionable recommendations for healthcare leaders and decision-makers. Support consultation projects through evidence synthesis, needs assessments, program evaluations, and implementation planning. Collaborate with government stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to evaluate, implement, and sustain evidence-based healthcare practices and innovations. Apply qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to assess program effectiveness and support data-informed decision-making. Facilitate discussions with senior stakeholders and provide strategic recommendations related to healthcare programs, policies, and performance improvement. Contribute to enterprise initiatives involving implementation science, dissemination, healthcare transformation, innovation, and organizational improvement. Develop executive briefings, research reports, white papers, presentations, technical products, and other knowledge resources for internal and external audiences. Support the development and dissemination of tools, resources, and knowledge products that advance Military Health System priorities. Contribute subject matter expertise to organizational growth, solution development, and future healthcare program opportunities. Requirements: Master’s degree in Health Services Research, Public Health, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience supporting the Military Health System. Demonstrated experience in health services research, program evaluation, assessment, and strategic analysis. Proven ability to synthesize scientific evidence and translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations. Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical capabilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing reports, presentations, technical products, and executive briefings. Experience collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams and supporting complex healthcare initiatives. Program management experience and/or certification is preferred. Change management experience and/or certification is preferred. Experience supporting Military Health System, Department of Defense, or other federal healthcare programs is preferred. Experience with implementation science, dissemination science, healthcare innovation, or evidence-based practice initiatives is desirable. Experience collaborating with clinicians, researchers, and diverse stakeholder groups is preferred. Experience supporting healthcare quality improvement, organizational improvement, or healthcare transformation initiatives is desirable. Ability to obtain Public Trust/NACI clearance.
